I sure hope NG+ continues to be a thing for Mass Effect.
I don't see why not

I hope this isn't a standalone game.
It's really exciting to go to a whole new galaxy, and it was a very smart move by Bioware. They don't have to deal with canonization, they're respecting everyone's choices, and ending Shepard's story.
Can't wait for it. ![]()
Telling you now BioWare FACE CODES!!! Do not believe we are just going to settle with the half ass (capture your sliders) nonsense DAI did in a series that invented the FACE CODES system.
I sure hope NG+ continues to be a thing for Mass Effect.
Both of these things need to be... a thing.
I really hope this wont be Inquisition in space.
ΗΑΗΑΗΑΗΑΗΑ imagine this game having SPACE RIFTS which the main character has to magnetically seal using his omnitool. I would SO buy this just for the nerve of bioware!

...Nightmares commence in 3...2...1...
After the horror that was Mass Effect 3's ending and troubling things I've heard from Inquisitions mixed reception, I'm casting a very cautious eye at this game.
Rifts in DAI weren't that offensive, there were probably too many of them though.
Space shards though...
Bah, the shards in Inquisition were far more useful than the insignias, dogtags, and other pointless collectible crap in ME1.

I'm not at all using my opinion of Inquisition(which is mainly positive) to affect my thoughts on Andromeda. My opinion on Andromeda is affected mainly by how wrecking ME3 as a whole was.

Hello all;
I know that ME:A will take place a long time after the events of ME3, but I would like to be sure that the events of ME3 impact the game, and in particular the final decision of ME3.
If we pick control or synthesism, will we see reapers ?
If we pick destruction, will we know the consequence Inside the game ?
If we pick reject, hum... Saren's music theme at the beginning of the game ("Game Over") ? ... Ok I joke for this one.
And maybe the war asset level at the end of the ME3 could have an impact of ME:A. Imagine Earth destroyed....
What do you think ?

People inexplicably love ME1 despite a lot worse sins than DAI. The pointless collection quests. Boring environments. Terrible exploration and a crap ton of recycled locations - the same habitation on every world.
I found it incomprehensible. Every single flaw in DA:I is present - and magnified - in ME1.

Difference. ME1 and DA:I are in different franchises, ME1 came out in 2007 while DA:I came out in 2014, and ME1 has had time for rose-tinted glasses to come into play.
I say that while still acknowledging that I absolutely loved ME1 and didn't have the same love for DA:I though I did enjoy the game.

They would have to be either mad or have balls size of the citadel. I would still play the **** out of that though.

I want in ME:A more usage of omnitool. Not only for opening doors, scan, fight but more FEATURES WITH IT.
I hope this isn't a standalone game.
Expect a standalone game.

It's the same mechanic, only one series (ME1) did it way worse. I just don't get it. I tolerated DA:I a lot more only because I suffered through ME1s flaws.
I didn't "suffer" through anything of ME1's;I loved everything about that game and didn't have complaints, only suggestions for what I thought could make it better. Lets be real, that game isn't anything close to perfect. But I don't think it was some hallmark of bad game design.
I think that absolutely none of these things will happen. If Bio was going to do them, they wouldn't be moving the setting to Andromeda in the first place,
Agreed, no one seems to understand the invincible, unbeatable Reapers were the reason for the ME3 ending because they needed a way to stop them.

I think it had a lot of flaws. The inventory/loot system was utter trash. The side quests had essentially one design, and it was a horrid one. The driving mechanics were poor. The worlds themselves (the UEWs) were very unimaginative, despite the beautiful painted sky they had for each. The plot was poorly paced and often involved either complete nonsense, character stupidity, or both. There was very little actual main story content, and we didn't visit many exotic locations. The MQ levels were just liner corridors, and the vast majority of side quests (or "assignments") had little-to-no-dialogue ala DA:I. Plus, we had the same type of inept villain, only the In Your Heart Shall Burn moment came a bit later (i.e., Virmire).
To me, DA:I and ME1 are almost incredibly similar games from the design side, and carry all of the same flaws that reflects the design choices Bioware makes when switching to a new engine.
I liked ME1, and probably would have liked it a lot more if Bioware didn't spoil 95% of the plot in their first 2 previews, but I think it was rife with design failure. Much like DA:I.
