The one thing I liked in the trailer was the new mako. Nice big tires. I wonder if it got those tires from the Bigfoot monster truck guys? Hahaha. As fast as it was moving, I wouldn't be surprised if it has a big block 454 hemi engine under the hood. Hahaha. Looking forward to driving the mako when the game comes out

But the only thing they have done, is leave the endings alone. You still have it set in the same universe, that video you are basing all this on still shows Mass Effect like technology including the armor the human character was using and the weapon said character was wielding (Gun and Omni blade). People have already slowed the video down to show that silhoutes of a Krogan and a Human/Asari female are in fact visible. Heck we also see a Mass Effect style haptic interface, a GUI that seems similar to the one used in Lair of the Shadow Broker to view hidden camera clips. So in that one short video we see a lot of things that establish the game is in the same universe as the previous ones, showing they haven't thrown it all away despite your continued repetition of that argument.

The only thing that resembled ME was the N7 logo if that was removed it might as well have been a different IP instead.

 

All they did do was let Player choice stand and avoid retconing the ending. If you don't like that, fine, but let's not pretend they've abandoned the Mass Effect series or made the past games pointless because you want them to continue a storyline they ended.

 

They're not respecting player choices , their trivializing them by leaving the galaxy and making it pointless to save since it'll never be seen again.

Again, for those who care to listen. Jump Jets were used by Cerberus, and main character's been able to shoot around the battlefield ever since Mass Effect two gave Vanguard the Charge ability. Leaping into the air is not outside anything already established in the universe.

Except jump jets and holographic GUI interfaces can be found in other sci-fi series.

I seem to remember the Krogan appearing in a lot of frames of the 2014 E3 video.  High 20s at least, probably even 30s.

Well in this game they will, much like earth found the technology that allowed them to travel unimaginable distances a few decades before the start of ME1.  In fact, having technical advances suddenly discovered is kind of a hallmark of the series.  Good to see Bioware sticking to ME's roots!

Except Bioware using asspulls has always resulted in the worst aspects of the series such as the Lazarus project, synthesis and Cerberus having large fleets in ME2. Not to mention the reaper's deliberately leave behind their technology so the species of the galaxy don't become technologically superior than them in and it makes the species of the galaxy believe some else built the relay's until its too late.

A way to dodge RBG. Starting off a new series with some implausible space magic is inevitable in science fiction. ME1 started with a veritable deluge of nonsense space magic we accept as setting up the plot. MEA will be the same.
