Yeah I agree, don't feel much with this. But it sure beats silence and some rumors though. It was time to let us know *something* and hopefully more soon.
I think it's an awesome trailer, especially if it's in-engine. ![]()

As someone who has actually played DA:I as each playable species from start to finish, I know for a fact that this statement is bollocks.
You're right, of course.
Having to accommodate the multiple races watered down Inquisition's potential in other spaces, while simultaneously doing a relatively poor job of even reflecting those different races.
Considerering the music style i would take a wild guess and say maybe the MC will be some kind of outlaw...
More bad news if true.
More like, the events of ME3 are only going to be discussed very, very vaguely and have little to no impact on the plot.
But synthesis entirely rewrites what 'life' is.
If all endings result in the same type of human, asari, krogan etc. characters, then the effects of synthesis are either negligible, which contradicts what occurs in the epilogue of that ending totally, or inevitable.

It's a teaser trailer guys, music is chosen for many reasons just for trailers... also if you noticed the music when the logo popped up had some Vigil in it.
MORE!!! MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE!!!!!
If Bioware says it's Mass Effect, it's Mass Effect.
meh, Massive Effect
That scene with the main character and others running looked familiar. Its the same that is seen during the beam run in London
I just hope the main character isn't a synthetic-organic hybrid with shiny green eyes
Well there is a Krogan for a split second and they don't have green eyes...

Taken from here http://blog.bioware....fect-andromeda/
"You will play a human, male or female, though that’s actually not the character you saw in the trailer (more on that later)."
WHA WHA WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAT????

I'm sure it's all easily hand-waveable.

It's the same kinda stumble run/climb that's been in ME since the beginning it's like a staple at this point.
lol, naw. He never awoke from the 3rd dream. He was put out and frozen by the alliance, see. They knew the Reapers could not be defeated. They knew the galaxy was lost. So.... They sent the one human that could lead and defend a new Galaxy. They sent a battle hardened soldier. They sent a protector.
They sent.....
A Shepard.
"What does N7 mean to you"?
Well why else would they tell us that the character we saw in the trailer wasn't the one we will play? Because it's Shepard, obviously ![]()
Needs to be called something else besides Keep because "Keep" just sounds too medieval and DA-ish.
Mass Effect: Datapad.
Mass Effect: Hangar.

So he was put into some kind of stasis ?
So, would that make destroy canon? Have to say, that'd make me amazingly happy.

Or a clone, it's not like we didn't see that before
Or he/she is really really old. But imagine the hype if it actually was Shepard ![]()

No. But keep convincing yourself ![]()

I don't think it'll be explicitly stated
after all, that's the whole point of going to Andromeda, right? ![]()

No surprise here. They just confirmed the setting and the potential release date.
I'd rather they did a Fallout 4 and didn't officially reveal the game until they were willing to give substantial information (and a closer release date).
That said, I'm pleased to hear it takes place far away from and long after the original trilogy. But without any of the iconic locations and the possibility of entire races not appearing in the game I'm hesitant to get excited. It was the setting and characters that made me love the first two games, so I hope it doesn't end up feeling too different to really be called a "Mass Effect" game.
Hope we'll see more of ME:A before the end of the conference (it seems a dev asked on twitter to wait until the end).
Edit :
If you only care about Mass Effect, no, but I think Battlefront looks pretty sweet, and it's coming up
Yeah, but if its really Shepard it can't be the other endings since he kind of gets disintigrated or refuses and gets obliterated. Unless they go for IT theory, which would be cool but also make me feel like we never actually got a ME3 ending. Only thing worse than a bad ending is no ending at all.
Unless this game is just a Vega pipe dream or something.
