It doesn't have to be one or the other provided a longer dev cycle, but considering the time allotted to them, it very obviously turned out to be one or another.

We're talking about two different games with two different dev cycles. Other than not wanting to do it again, having it in ME2 had no effect on if it was in ME3 or not.

That's silly. Real people survive that, let alone fantastical creatures. Also remember that ME "bullets" are small shards of metal going so fast that they'd just pass through your body. They aren't today's bullets that are designed to expand or explode inside the target to tear it up.

Well it depends on the caliber of the gun. If it was a .50, .308, or a 7.62 yeah you gonna kick the bucket.

Well has anyone ever survived a hit from a .50 caliber anywhere? That is a devastating round. But yes, what I was talking about is almost always handguns.

Kinda ;)

Modern combat hard-suits have a "triple canopy" of protection: shields, armor, and self-repair. The outermost layer is created through kinetic barrier emitters, which detect objects incoming at a high rate of speed and generate deflecting "shields" provided they have enough energy in their power cells.

If a bullet or other incoming object gets past the barrier, it contends with the more traditional body armor. A sealed suit of non-porous ballistic cloth provides kinetic and environmental protection, reinforced by lightweight composite ceramic plates in areas that either don't need to flex or require additional coverage, such as the chest and head. When the armor is hit by directed energy weapons, the plates boil away or ablate rather than burning the wearer.

The last level of protection is provided by the suit's microframe computers, whose input detectors are woven throughout the fabric. These manage the self-healing system, which finds rents in the fabric and, assuming any such tear would wound the flesh underneath, seals the area off with sterile, non-conductive medi-gel. This stanches minor wounds and plugs holes in the suit that could prove fatal in vacuum or toxic environments. Soldiers are not always fond of the "squish skin" that oozes gel on them at a moment's notice, but fatalities have dropped sharply since the system was implemented.

Riiiight
I guess all that fit in the invisible glass casing around Jack's bare midsection :)

Who are we attacking at the end of the video? Are we the bad guys now, attacking the indigenous people?

I really hope not. It will be a crash if they did.

Will the game include the Blood Dragon Armor again on Andromeda? Because when I had it on my Male Shep it looked damn coolant It'll look cool on my character as well.

Well, you know BioWare. They keep giving us surprises, and maybe 'Diplomatic' DLC to have the options to cooperate with the Indigenous, instead of attacking them  :D (BioWare don't you dare!!)

They really need to scrap that story and come up with adventures of traveling to another galaxy, instead of the whole "humanity needs to survive and we're special" nonsense.

Nono, you don't understand, the Reapers were right all along!  We were interfering with their "solution" to save the galaxy!   <_<

Whenever I read stuff like that, I find myself wishing that Bio really had gone with the Dark Energy plot.

Instead of being the evil Shepard for stopping the good reapers from preventing the utter destruction of organic life you would be the evil for stopping the good reapers from saving the universe. Either plot is bad. At least you can color the original ending red green or blue depending on your preference. Reapers should have been the ultimate evil, black and white, no grey. The cerberus and illusive man should have been the grey.

You may be right because of the inclusion of Cerberus, but looking at the Reapers alone, that's not necessarily true. Much like with the Catalyst now, the challenge would be to the inevitability of the destruction. The problem isn't the claim of inevitability, it's that we cannot argue against it and decide that we're going to chart our own course and solve the problem in our own way. Maybe we will succeed and maybe we'll fail, but we at least want the chance. We'd be rejecting that the Reapers get to make that choice for us.

This is why I choose destroy is my preferred ending, though it is somewhat problematic that it throws away the synthetics that the game has been telling me are people too without much weight given to that trade-off. It's just flopped out there and you take it or don't. This is another problem with Shepard being isolated with the Catalyst rather than surrounded by the characters that have been so important to the series.

Why is that a problem?

This looks awesome but I can't stop laughing at the near-comically sexual nature of the female character's pose in that image.

Those hips.

Surprised she isn't wearing a Miranda style catsuit, with the male character looking down at her arse.

Instantly the I hate Females in game's People show up.

I personally think each sex has its appealing design, and see no need for shame from either of them, nor should they be embarrassed to accent, or reveal these differences.

I don't want another thread like the I hate boobies one in DAI ( went on for Ever, and and accomplished nothing ), ( we each have Opinions, and personal taste, I hope the game can cater to all the personal desires of the fan's, And not to just one prudish you have to think like me person. )

    I think and appealing look for the player's in the new Mass effect universe would be nice, I found it troublesome that Miranda got the only sexy uniform's in the Mass effect environment ( I know there were others, but hers was the most stand out of them ), and felt that the player got jilted in that respect anyway, { And DAI was for me disgusting armor I don't care what anyone says [ Many say it was Practical, that's what I say about a Gas saving economy Car, but not what, if I have the money, I want to drive. This is fantasy, I don't Die, and the re-spawn, at a save point in real life. I go 6 feet under>>> I want Fantasy impossible day dreaming Escapism  }

I also Hope that they give the female player a little more of a feminine walk. I would actually like to have something like [ FNIS Sexy walk, A Skyrim mod in the options menu, allowing the female haters to turn the sexy walk completely off, and the rest of us to set it to a desired amount ]

Anyway I am truly very happy that they are trying to make another Mass effect universe Game, and Hope they don't finish like they did in the last or third ME3.

Good and evil are always determined from the perspective of the speaker. From the biological beings of ME, the Reapers are the evil, from the Reaper side, advanced biologicals of the galaxy is the problem. Cerberus was indeed the middle gray, they played both sides, trying to take advantage of the situation from all angles.
