Well that was. underwhelming. Its not in game, we didn't see our character and we moved it to another galaxy and x years latter to get away from the mess made of the last series (great characters rubbish latter plotting and continuity)

Please I know you have a year and a half before release, and knowing bioware add at least 3 months to that :)  but get the universe locked down properly. Have someone check continuity. Also have some focus groups outside of initial studio people, who seem to get very blinkered, so if they think the story or plot elements are rubbish they can be changed. Movies have done this for over half a century its about time games did.

Needs to be called something else besides Keep because "Keep" just sounds too medieval and DA-ish.

The Mass Effect HQ already exists and was created way before the Keep. I guess they'll revamp that.

How is that an insane comment? All the stuff we know and love from the original games is gone, this game has some things in common but it's not the same as the original Mass Effect. It shares the title, the mako, and (some) of the races. That's it.

It's an insane comment because they're likening ME:A to one of the worst films of the 90s. That's a troll comment at best.

If the complaint is that the new ME game doesn't share any characters/settings with the other games, you can at least say Star Trek TOS to TNG. New characters, new villains, etc.

But likening anything to G'98 implies bad quality, which is a laughable implication at this point because you can't possibly know that. And given BioWare's track record, there's no reason to think this will be a disaster.

I'm so excited, I don't think I can process the amount of hype I have inside of me. Also it seems as we will be getting back the light/medium/heavy armour choice! That is the one thing I missed from Mass effect 1: Customisation to your armory, oh that and exploration.

Well, they're not very pretty so it's easy to understand BUT Triangulum is absolutely just as 'sexy' as Milky Way or Andromeda but nope, it's always the other 2 in sci-fi...

Andromeda is bigger, and more widely known.

Its one thing to introduce new characters and villains, but its something else if they have to resort to ditching everything they've built up alreadyy.

Guys, clearly Mass Effect: Andromeduh is going to be the next Plan 9 From Outer Space, I say this because I have a time machine.  :P

Anyways, I saw nothing but gold in the trailer, I get some people don't like the idea of going to Andromeda and others have an irrational reaction to Johnny Cash  but otherwise everything was great, compared to most teaser trailers this one has loads to talk about, which i'm sure was intentional.  ;)

With all due respect, but it would've been a much smarter move to play this trailer right at the end of the conference, rather than the beginning. Now I feel like the hype train was all ready to go but there were no wagons to hop on to.

I mostly just hope the mako gameplay is nothing like it was in ME1

Agreed, the game could end up being fantastic but from what we've seen so far it looks like a new IP, not a extra addition to the ME series.

We don't have enough elements. All we have is a basic setting (with the Remnants,..) and basic gameplay mechanics. That's not even 10% of the game. We don't know for sure which races are in the game (beside humans and Krogans), the background setting to fill the gaps, technologies (beside the Mako and what it seems to be a more advanced Omni Tool), et cetera. Hell we don't have enough elements to make viable hypothesis.

And that's disappointing : we almost know anything about ME:A.

I just want to know why we're heading to Andromeda, what's the reason behind it? I know, colonization, sure, still...

I just need to know this for now tbh.

Thing is if they didn't show N7 on the armor people could easily have taken it for another IP.

I hope you're all aware that the Reapers will be waiting for us in the Andromeda galaxy. The Reapers would have traveled there millions of years ago, if such a journey was possible.

BioWare, what are you doing?

I was wondering if somebody could take a super close-up of the females face to see if there is any trace of synthesis on it - my photoshop-fu is not good enough :(

Meh.  If people don't like Johnny Cash, their opinions obviously have no value.

Well, I'm excited. I loved the Mass Effect trilogy, with the exception of the bizarre ending. I thought the writing in ME 3 was fantastic. I will look forward with great anticipation to the roll-out of this game. Hope it has a great storyline. Hope they learn from Inquisition's mistakes (Which were fewer than I anticipated as they tried combining a story-driven game with an open world concept.), and create a fantastic game.

Why would the reapers go to Andromeda? - the ME trilogy seem to be firmly based on the milky-way Galaxy (stupid as the story is) the starbrat has no reason to go or send the reapers to Andromeda.

Not sure if someone saw this from the blog: "You will play a human, male or female, though that’s actually not the character you saw in the trailer (more on that later)."

So we could have seen Shepard??

Slowpoke, I got the vid up before you did! :P

I loved the trilogy (even ME 3. That game you guys weren't too fond with).

I can't wait for more Mass Effect action.

New galaxy.

New adventures.

New races.

BRING IT ON!

I'm glad to see a man and a woman on the poster, so good job on that, Bioware. I do wish she didn't stand like she's trying to hold in a fart, though. It looks ridiculous.

I love to play as a nonhuman in DA but I'm happy to play as a human in ME. The amount of content for other races in DA:I fell short of what I wanted (Really, no one reacts to Lavellan getting her clan wiped out?) so giving one race all the attention will hopefully result in a deeper experience.

It happens sometimes when your panties get stuck in your buttcrack. She is adjusting them without her hands.
