I wish the dribbles and drabs of information was a little more forthcoming, I get so depressed knowing it's coming but not seeing anything other then rumors or supposed leaks, I'd be happy with concept art, but just reading conjectures about it is sooo depressing.

Well, that kinda depends. If they follow the traditional model of the standard version being $60 then no, $100 is not unreasonable. If, however, you pick up the deluxe edition or collector's edition, then yeah. $100 + all DLC is unreasonable.

Don't prepay. Wait until the finished product is out so you know what you're buying.

Wait until there's a game of the year edition released after all dlc have been released.

 

DAI had a game of the year edition with all dlc and upgrades included for $60. If the game, dlc's and upgrades were purchased separately. it would cost $125. In March, when I purchased my ps4, I bought the game of the year edition for only $40.

If I have no time to play at release, I will wait for GoY edition, but if I have time to play, I don't mind supporting BioWare with a prepurchase.  I love the game and the company/division.

How soon? Maybe never, for a physical edition. The DAI GoTY came with download codes rather than a second disc.

The reason they are going to a different galaxy is to avoid the choices.

no thanks, there is a 99% possibility we leaving Milky Way between ME2 and ME3 so that mean our Ship is on deep space by the time ME 3 ending happen so we dont care. (thanks god for this)

Because this something new is throwing away or seem to be throwing away many of the things that made Mass Effect Mass Effect for many people.

Honestly, I'm all for endings mattering, but for ME3, I'll make an exception and flush the toilet that was a part of. I loved the game, but never again with those endings. Just... no.

Ofc I want more of the trilogy-style ME, but the key word there is, "Trilogy." They have to take it somewhere new, and I can't wait to see where that is!

Can't speak for others, but I hate how Shepard (and the Milky Way)was left.

 

SO it's understandable that ditching the MW for a new galaxy would feel like abandonment.
