Yeah this looks freaking sick, great little reveal and awesome to see jetpack and omni-blade action.
Just a peek of gameplay would've been great but i'm sure we'll see more soon.

But the manner in which the devs said we wouldn't be needing our saves implied that choices wouldn't carry over in any way.
Mass Effect: Vigil?
I'm not caring about my saved games from the trilogy coming over into the new game as much as some people here are. I'll play the trilogy. And I'll play Andromeda. They can be mutually exclusive to me.
At least, that's my stance now. When I get my hands on the game late next year, I may feel differently.
I'm pretty happy about this. Glad it's in the future.
I thought I would be impressed, and I waited to be so. But, sadly, I wasn't. New engine, visuals and whatnot is great, but I care more about story, characters and lore of something I spent so much time with. And it didn't deliver. And it feels so late and not enough.
The music is so wrong in this trailer. Wow!
And the "different galaxy, and long time after" just turns me off. I try not to. I really try to separate things. But it makes no sense for me not to be following the events we all know and dedicated so much time on them. I understand that all the crappy ending controversy made it eaiser for them to stay away from it. But it seems like a mistake over a mistake...
Hope the next trailer, with the right setting and all, can bring ME back to its place in my gamer's heart.
Wow, been a while since I've logged onto BioWare forums - had to try to remember my password!
Looking forward to this so much, hoping for more graphics options for PC players ![]()
If the N7 character isn't the person we're playing as, I wonder what their significance in the story is?
It's a BioWare trailer, if it's not the protagonist, it's the villain....true since BG1.

I expected them to distance from the ending controversy. How could they ever turn that cluster around in a way that the majority of players were happy? Impossible to do. So... hence a new story, new protagonist, new setting, new everything with a few old familiar things like races and the Mako thrown in.
As for the music... I think it's a hint.

Yeah? How's that?
I am glad to see Mass Effect return. Been waiting for the official reveal for awhile and it was a little underwhelming, no offense. I just think there is more to be gained, by showing more. But atleast we know its a thing and i am excited to learn more.
Oh boy. Can't wait for the character reveals and the tears of people because they can't bang everyone.
So this is a Space Western staring a Space Cowboy.
In which case I can think of a few really awesome casting choices:
Gina Torres
Nathan Fillion
Adam Baldwin
Summer Glau
Alan Tudyk
Sean Miller
Ron Glass
Mark Sheppard
and
Morena Baccarin
These casting choices will certainly help with the space western theme.
Just to show how serious I am about this, here is a video for you.

Not true. There was an ME2 trailer with Legion being the only character.
I think the music is more meant to represent that character, their personality--whoever they are. Also that he would just have that song on the radio in the background while he's doing some scanning.
Perhaps a certain dynamic between them and the PC, as well.
Regardless, I didn't see it as the ME:A theme song and all that.

If I can't bang a 4-testicled fish creature, I'm out.
It's going to be all new races in an all new place. Without things like the Citadel, Anderson, Turians, etc... it's not Mass Effect to me.
Bit underwhelmed by that trailer. The areas look a bit too much like DA:I (big, pretty, but ultimately empty), the ship looks like it's touchpad operated (no crew or pilot?) and the release date...
I don't want them to rush it, and obviously they've just finished DA:I but Bethesda announced Fallout 4 yesterday with a release date of November. That's five months!!! Kinda wish Bioware had waited till next E3.
Maybe I'm reading too much into a reveal trailer
Still excited though!

I actually expected it too. Just hoped I was wrong and we would see a game following ME3's events. ![]()
Very true about the music. A rogue N7 agent? Sergio Leone's Mass Effect? ![]()
Human... again?
Not true. There was an ME2 trailer with Legion being the only character.
Companion trailer none-withstanding...

I didn't either, to tell the truth. But it was anticlimatic for the first trailer, for me. ![]()

That wasn't a companion trailer. It was Mass Effect 2's first trailer.
