Let's end ANDROMEDA... what's next? Bring more democracy to different galaxies and keep rebooting/restarting the Franchise now like the FINAL FANTASY series without even ever seeing our own overrated galaxy again? bet you haven't thought of that didn't you? unless if they are planning for another horrific trilogy which will be spoiled by another Starbrat then be my guest
I liked the E3 ME:A Teaser.
No complaints from me. It's just a teaser, not a trailer.

What is your understanding between a teaser and a trailer?
Curious
Considering how much they want to dissociate from the original trilogy, it's no surprise that the trailer doesn't seem very Mass Effect-like.

What Mass Effect elements do you believe is missing? 'Cause I sure recognized it as ME
I think its a bit silly to jump on the back of MEA after one two minute trailer.
I mean, I get it. People are still cut up about the ME and how it ended including me. Lets face it though, if they had come out and said that they were setting it in the ME original universe then heads would roll.
I'm excited but its on an emotional placeholder. There are a few things that bother me (Like the dude in the ciip not being yours) but it isnt enough for me to make a snap judgement, I shall at least wait until later this year for that
After all, they moved galaxy and time because of the outrage caused by Me3

Ever thought of why the guy is not the PC? Or, perhaps the woman is the PC and the camera angle focuses on her companion.
Just to add a twist
I hope they take a lot of from Mass Effect 2. I love the dark atmospheres and cities, gray characters, an the fact that I am an smartass outlaw with morality issues.
ESPECIALLY the gray characters.
"You fetchers are all racist!"
This is the first Mass Effect game I'm not looking forward to. It's got less to do with the trailer and more to do with the lack of interesting content. I really don't care about another galaxy with "advanced ancient aliens" and whatever else. This series starts and stops with Shepard and the team. That's it, really.

I hope not. I hated how Mass Effect 2 did that. Easily my least favorite Mass Effect game of the Shepard Trilogy.
They wrote themselves in an corner. What were you expecting? A spiritual re-boot is the only way they could proceed in milking this franchise.

There was a familiar gun and N7 logo on the screen at the same time. And a krogan i think. Other than this not much mass effect was shown. Without the logo before the shoot'em up scene id probably miss the krogan lol. The country music was only there to make you wonder what this trailer will be about before the N7 flash - i hope so. Or the the fluctuation at BW is so big they totally lost what mass effect was about.
Take Inquisition for negative example. Now, i dont say its a bad port for pc and is nothing like Origins - but it is.

Me too. ME2 by far best ME game in the franchise. it was listed as number 1 out of 100 games in PC Gamer magazine as the top PC game of 2014. PC Gamer magazine has great taste.
I have this strong feeling that it'll be like DA:I but in space. That thought does not make me all that happy for this game.
Bioware says it won't be.
A teaser typically contains far leas information (and is often shorter). The point of a teaser is basically to let you know that something is happening, without really telling you anything about it.<<<<<<<<<<0>>>>>>>>>>

I didn't like the teaser either;
it felt like I'm watching Destiny or Call of Duty or some silly shooter game trailer, there was no mass effect feeling in that teaser at all,but the thing is it was just a teaser nothing more.....I still have hope(not fate.. just hope)
btw when I heard the song while the screen was still dark, I tought I clicked to wrong link and I stopped the video:)

That "tingling feeling" is probably because of Bio mentioning the game is MASSIVE and the focus is on EXPLORATION.
But if you read the context of the game (from that leaked poll):
The Next Mass Effect Context:
The next Mass Effect game takes place in the Helius Cluster (a cluster of 100s of solar systems in the Andromeda Galaxy), far removed by time and space from Commander Shepard’s heroic acts and the final events of the Mass Effect trilogy. You are a pathfinder, a combat trained but un-tested explorer leading an expedition into the Helius cluster to establish a new home for humanity. As you explore this sprawling series of solar systems (over 4x the size of Mass Effect 3), collecting resources and building colonies, you will encounter the savagery of untamed lands in the form of cut-throat outlaws and warring alien races. To survive and colonize the wild reaches of space, you will need to grow your arsenal, your ship, your crew and make strategic (and often uneasy) alliances to fight against increasingly menacing foes. Along the way, you will encounter the remains of a once powerful and mysterious alien race, the Remnant, whose forgotten technology holds the key to gaining power in this region of the galaxy. As you uncover who the Remnant were, and the mysteries their ruins contain, you are drawn into a violent race to find the source of their forgotten technology that will determine the fate of humanity.
It doesn't sound too bad. Mind you, that "fate of humanity" sounds like the Wild West with gangs of gun-toting maniacs.
don't expect much from bioware anymore, this game wont be as good as the old mass effects, straight away id miss shepard and the old companions

Sounds horrible.... Ancient race, ancient super technology, fate of humanity...ugh.
That's a pretty dumb reason for being uninterested tbh.

So you're claiming to be God, since you are making your personal preferences the measure of everything. Gotcha.
