Hmm, maybe a Mass Effect online or a multiplayer mode like Destiny.

This is in addition to the other multiplayer video I created but this one is more of a discussion as to what Mass Effect Andromeda can learn or build on from Mass Effect 3's multiplayer.

Edited for Great Justice
1. RNG has to die. Some random drops are fine (like packs with randomized ammo packs or heavy weapon ammo, like consummables in ME3), but let me choose what weapon to unlock with my hard earned credits. I don't snipe. I don't snipe. I. DON'T. SNIPE. So I really couldn't give less of a turd about my Javelin upgrades. My Harrier is still at I. I won't have hours upon hours to play like in high school, so I deserve to get kicked because I can't dedicate 500+ hours to max out the manifest? I want to have fun with the cool guns too.

3. RNG has to die.

16472. RNG has to die.
16473. Typechat. C'mon. Why wasn't this in ME3?
16474. Geth Infiltrator equivalent. I want my Destroyer of Worlds class.
That's of the top of my head.

Ooh! Ooh! Just thought of this!
Split objectives, where people have to cooperate by performing complementary tasks. Obviously, this would only work if there were enough players in the game, and there would have to be a way for the objective to downgrade to match the remaining number players if anyone dropped during an objective wave.
Hmm... probably would be a lot of work to implement this, now that I think about it...

That it is not there and/or it's a horrible and never done in another Mass Effect game.

A part of me really likes this idea.
Another part is utterly terrified of attempting to do such an objective with your average pug.

Yeah, the longer I thought about it, the more exciting and terrifying it was just how easily the idea could get out of hand.

You're a little late on the former bub, MP has been confirmed in ME:A for a long time now.
poor SP peasants. Your extinction is inevitable. We are the end of everything

For the record, I am only bumping this to slightly alter the mathematical ratio of "Sky is Falling" threads.

I'm expecting more different modes.
I'm not expecting PvP.
I'm expecting it to be more integrated into the main game, but still optional.
If it's on par with the last one, that will be a win.

In my case, I almost never play multiplayer stuff; generally because its often competitive or PvP oriented. The fact that I picked up and enjoyed ME3's MP component was at much a surprise to me as anyone else. I'm hoping what comes in the new installment will build on that so I can enjoy it just as much as before. If there's anything specific I desire, it is to be able to utilize the same playstyle as I did before. Just about all of my hours in game were spent as a Turian Sentinel equipped with a scoped Tempest SMG. With racial bonuses and equipment to reduce muzzle lift and ammo capacity, I utilized my weapon as though it was a rapid fire sniper rifle - something I found quite satisfying when in combination with Tech Armor and the ability to stun opponents at a distance. Besides the personal gratification, I never really saw anyone else use the Tempest in that way, so I did appreciate the tiny bit of uniqueness that went along with that.
At any rate, for all my issues with ME3's endings, I had no problems with the multiplayer experience. I'm certainly game to get into that arena again.
