This is just a thread to list things you would like Bioware to consider to put in the next Mass Effect game.
If you can further elaborate on your points then that would be better.

I was going to say sharpened helicopter blades, but instead I'm going to say greatly increased mobility that can lead to powerful melee attacks.
The Milky Way and multiple playable species.
I like everything I've heard so far, so I'll trust their vision. All I really want is better hairstyles. One thing BioWare has never been good at, at least for player characters. It seems every game has examples of really nice hairstyles that end up being exclusive to NPCs.
Loooooooads of inventory - crazy amounts of different armour sets, weapons, customisation options etc!
My main bone of contention with ME2 & ME3 was the massive downgrade in inventory options. I love loot!No loot, only guns, credits and things to sell for credits.
More in depth skill trees. (I'm okay with this but I don't want none of that obsessively-excessive RPG nonsense cluttering my Gameplay. The ability to have a pet to take round with you.Space Mabari?
Lots of alignment choices in quests with vastly different outcomes, and lots of dialogue options.Loads of side quests!Minimal side quests but each one endearing, heartbreaking, or otherwise memorable. I am not fetching your purse that you left on the other side of the galaxy, Grandma! You don't even put anything in it just buy another one!No multiplayer.Even better Multiplayer than ME3's glorious creation which was the main reason Mass Effect 3 has stayed in the limelight as much as it has.
Fixed it for me and fixed it for you. ![]()
1)Race selection for protag(i would like quarians or someone like them)
2)less focus on humanity(especialy humans are suprime master race and shepard bullshit) and alliance/cerber, better to have freedom to pick a side
3)Our ship-our crew(no more aliiance/cerber useless humans on our ship) we must have choice to who we will have or who will not, except maybe only ship AI
4)Ship customisation-visible modifications inside and outside ship
5)no more MP, only single player focused game, DAI was became worst because of MP oriented game in first place
A ship interior that is interactive, interesting and has a crew that feels like they live there too. ME3 took a step in the right direction by having crew members walk around and interact with each-other, so more of that please! MEA could take it a step further by personalizing character locations and have them play a part in conversations. If someone is working at a desk, why not have pictures of family? If they are alien, how about items that tell us something about their culture? Make the areas feel lived-in, don't make me think they stay put in one location 24/7 without the need to eat or chat or walk around! Or that they are content with a barren room that only has a cot and a table!
. I'd also like to see background npcs use facilities even though you can't talk to them. Show them making coffee, using the sleeping pods, using the lockers etc.
Speaking of ship facilities, lets have more of them! A training room/gym? A rec room? I'm sure we'll have a cabin we can personalize again but I'd like that interaction to extend beyond the protagonist's room. Who else was annoyed we had a poker table but couldn't play? Or that we had empty room that served no purpose but to be empty (Thane's room in ME3) I couldn't have been the only one that wanted to click on things in the kitchen
.It might seem like a waste to some, but for me, small stuff like this helps with my immersion. A training room where you can spar with crewmates, a kitchen where you open a fridge and see food containers labeled "dextro only", A poker table you can actually interact with and play as a mini-game!
I love little details and interactivity, the more they can make the ship feel alive the better!
Pizza ninjas.
Also no multiplayer.
No forced multiplayer. Include multiplayer, just don't require it for the singleplayer experience.
Not repeating the mistakes of Dragon Age Inquisition: That means having side content that is filled with interesting characters and stories, and doesn't feel like MMO busywork drudgery. Most conversations with NPCs should also be of the cinematic/cutscene variety, and not DA:I's less immersive floating camera version.
Armor designs that look practical and that include an optional helmet, for both the protagonist and the companions. Characters shouldn't be running around in hostile enviroments with only breath masks and lots of exposed skin.
Much less of the humanity is special trope
ME3's system of armor customization and weapon upgrades
Some sort of approval/disapproval system with the squadmates. Squadmates should react to the protagonist based on his/her actions or dialogue, and not automatically default to hero worship no matter what you do. That should also have an effect on LI content, such as potentially locking LIs out.
Transporting some of the cool ME3 multiplayer abilities over to the singleplayer game of Andromeda.
Class-based interrupts, similar to the Omega DLC
More interaction with and between squadmates
More in depth skill trees
Being smarter about the use of autodialogue. Autodialogue may be needed for some cinematic scenes, but have it be neutral and be careful not to have the protagonist voice an opinion that could run counter to previous dialogue or choices by that character. Or instead have the player select a tone for that conversation (aggressive, sarcastic, diplomatic, ect) and have the autodialogue follow suit.
If the protagonist is military again, a little more attention to detail on the military aspects of the story and dialogue. The game obviously doesn't have to be some sort of ultra-realistic war sim, but some brief research (as in a quick google search) to get a feel for the terminology, unit sizes and hierarchy, the length of time it should take for a character to progress from one rank to another, ect. would help in adding greatly to the game's atmosphere and immersiveness. The previous ME games occasionally had some oddities like the word squad being used too often, when in the context it was used the squad should have been replaced with a larger unit like a company, battalion, or regiment, characters making nonsensical leaps up the chain of command, enlisted characters becoming officers with no indication of a college education in their background, or characters saluting with the wrong hand.
Keeping the space magic to an appropriate minimum. If you include space magic, have it be something that gets a suitable in-universe explanation allowing for suspension of disbelief, similar to eezo and biotics.
Having A.I. characters like the Geth seem truly alien.
Not having the protagonist decide the fate of entire species. This automatically makes sequels difficult, since you then have species or factions with fates that can vary from thriving to destroyed. Instead have the impact of any decisions that affect the fate of species or factions, be more similar to the Orzammar decisions in Dragon Age: Origins. The players' decisions affect who gains a crown, whether or not certain rights are extended to an oppressed underclass, and whether or not Orzammar goes through a period of expansion and revival. None of your decisions however result in Orzammar destroyed.

Especially this

This is a flat-out horrible idea. The story should not be determined by the player's class choice. It's stupid.
Class story content should be restricted to basically cosmetic differences only. And even that is something that needs to be done with care.

The story isn't being determined by it, it's only adding flavor David ![]()
More interrupts, especially renegade interrupts.

Even if they didn't, there's no reason not to keep talking about it.
Not right now. It should stay that way. A character dying or an objective being cut off because of the player's class choice would be moronic.
Charm/intimidate options not allowing you to brainwash everyone and occasionally failing/making things worse.
And does the player have any way of knowing it will make things worse? Or is it just, 'Surprise, this character dies because you weren't able to magically divine you shouldn't have said that even though the paraphrase sounded perfectly fine!'?

Did you actually play the Omega DLC? Judging by your post and your complete misunderstanding of what was requested, I'm guessing you haven't.
It allowed the engineer to use their tech skills to reroute power with the reactor. It didn't significantly alter the story compared to the other classes, but it did give the engineer a slightly different way to resolve a problem that made sense for that class.

The survey that apparently wasn't really serving the purpose it claimed to be serving.
It was just for some marketing crap.
