Did you actually play the Omega DLC? Judging by your post and your complete misunderstanding of what was requested, I'm guessing you haven't.

The engineer interrupt in Omega did not significantly alter the story. It did however allow the engineer to use their tech skills to reroute power with the reactor. It didn't significantly alter the story compared to the other classes, but it did give the engineer a slightly different way to resolve a problem that made sense for that class.

If you wanted interrupts to be confined to basically cosmetic changes, you ought to have said so. The majority of requests for class interrupts I've read have basically been along the lines of 'A biotic Shepard should have been able to save this character' and so forth.

I want to see

*Customisable omni-blades. Let you decide between adding cryo, incendiary, shock, poison or explosive effects.

*Omni weapons that reflect a classes specialisation or that which is unique to that class. For example, omni-blade for a more offense orientated soldier, and omni-shield for a tank. Maybe an omni-bow for a infiltrator that kind of thing.

*Class specific reactions. Me3 did well with the engineer option.

*If our character is a biotic, let us see our abilities in cutscenes. Very annoying to see an adept shepherd not use his biotics and revert to a weapon he was using :/

*Color tinting for armors is always good.

*Fast travel points. Handy for big maps.

*Engaging and varied bosses and enemy units. Lets not see a repeat of Venatori spellbinder, Sentinel spellbinder, hakkonite spellbinder :/ (seriously, why would a hakkonite bind a god/spirit into a book? Id have thought an animal or human skull wouldve been more appropriate)

I did specify, similar to the Omega DLC.

Players shouldn't be penalized for class choices by limiting their access to certain parts of the story, but some different solutions to problems or some class-based ways of dealing with NPCs confronting you could be interesting.

- A Solid Story

-Choices that matters (AGAIN)

-Deeper background , seriously if I'm gonna get stuck with lame human again at least work on the background and make it interesting and give it more sidequest .

-Better weapon System and upgrades .

-If we gonna use the damn mako , please make it better !

-Deeper romances , better cutscenes and for the love of Athame enough with the 'Gotta play whole game to see a pair of azz' ...

-Add more Flirt !!

-Bring Back Renegade/Paragon , Tis no Mass effect without those !

-I want to see more ASARI

-More interaction with your surroundering . I wanna be able to sit down , if I have a bar I wanna drink not just look at it .

-I hope that whole 'All your powers are on a cooldown' from ME2 won't be back , cose that sucked .

-Bring back blowing head shot and grab and punch from ME3 !!!

-Work on the class please , make them better !

-I want more armor choices . No no , nothing like in ME2 where I couldn't mix and match the others Armor . If there are more armors , I like to be able to custumize each one . The ability to turn the Helmet on for each squad too !!! please don't tie it all together like in DAI .

As long as you're careful. I wouldn't want a choice with a third option being only availiable to a certain class and everyone else being stuck with an innocent person getting killed or something. Something small like losing money would be acceptable.

A plot that doesn't make me yawn once I realize it's just as plain and simple as it looks after all (DA:I)

Romances that have more scenes after sex, and some key main-story moments in which the romance feels important. (Witcher 3 did this well)

Moments in the game where your party members leave to do their own things and may or may not come back depending on choices and consequences.

Playable races!  :crying:

Other than that, I get the impression that 'class specific options' would be something like slightly alternate routes (Omega) or flavor dialogue, with the general path open to all players regardless of class. That would be interesting, there's good RP potential there. The fact that my Shepard was a biotic was only mentioned once or twice.

1) Add roleplaying back. I would like to be able to create a character and control what they say, not just be taken along for the ride (ala ME3).

2) An option to change appearance in game. Sometimes I like to age my characters or change their hairstyle or whatever in order to show time going by or a personality change, or I may just want to freshen up their look.

3) A focus on a really good story. I don't want a Gears or COD game.

4) I liked the customizable weapons and armor, so I hope that makes it back in.

5) Good companions stories. I liked having fleshed out companions who had their own thing going on.

6) NG+

There is more, but those are the ones that popped into my mind as being most important.

-All 'priority' missions similar to the Collector base in ME2. The entire squad takes part. The protagonist/player has to delegate responsibilities to squad members, if chosen wrong there are consequences.

-Interactive conversations with groups of squad members, not just one on one.

-Ammo mods not being exclusive to a class.(sorry, but this never made sense)

In no particular order:

1) A strong, complex, winding, branching central narrative that is formed of more than just three or four missions

2) Cinematic, branching dialogue paths that never make me, as the player, feel out of control

2.1: my character should never come across as flirtatious or friendly or antagonistic towards an NPC except at my behest

3) A protagonist who isn't forced to hold the idiot ball in order to make the plot progress

4) Decisions that matter, whose repercussions become evident throughout the story, rather than simply being alluded to in epilogue slides

5) Meaningful relationships, and romance arcs that include more than just three conversations and an obligatory pre-final-mission cuddle

6) Side quests that matter, and that are more complex than fetch-quests or kill X number of raiders

7) Alternate (non-violent) methods of completing certain objectives

8) A detailed CC with the option to edit characteristics during the game (see Mirror of Transformation)

Like Jackwave said, missions where you have all the squad there, like the suicide mission from ME2 and the citadel DLC mission. It's really cool to see the whole squad interacting rather than just the two you take on a particular mission. I wouldn't use it all the time, maybe just on a couple of main story missions. As well as that, more squad interaction in general, it was really cool on ME3 when you would walk into a room between missions and hear some of your crew talking. More stuff to do on your ship, I would only really run from area to area talking to my crew without really doing anything on the ship..

Other features.... Maybe attachments for guns, armor upgrades and stuff. Someone's idea earlier about customising the omnitool weapon was pretty cool, I think a more fluid melee system as well would be cool.

Female Quarian love interest.

Better romance arcs, It shouldn't take all game to romance someone. I'm not saying it should be quick, but in mass effect 2, the tali romance felt like suddenly with like 2 missions left you start romancing her! I'm not sure how they could make it happen sooner but also feel natural though. I just want more romance dialogue with the person

To the ME: Andromeda Dev team:

1) I hope you will also include more ease-of-play options in the Casual play mode. I work with young adults who have disabilities who really need more in-game control and opt-out options, so they can handle the more difficult game-play elements. Keep options like Targeting Assist, and also add options to disable or reduce the difficulty for decryption (maybe all a player needs to do is simply find a crate or locker). Have an option that reduces the number of non-plot assignments and collection requirements so the focus remains on the story plot, and the primary missions can be played sooner. Have a setting that limits enemy attacks to one wave. Allow enemies to go down in one to three shots max. The challenged young adults I work with would much rather replay a 20-hour game more often, so they can try out the available customizations, decisions, play different characters, and select different dialog. Of course ME can’t be all things to everyone. My wish is that Andromeda can encompass a greater range of people with limited physical and cognitive skills. They just can’t spend 100+ hours before they can re-enjoy it.

2) Improve character facial customization, hairstyles, and casual attire options. Every armor choice should allow for the helmet to stay off. Allow the same facial customization to be continued into all future Andromeda-series games. I wanted my FemShep avatar to be really cute. The sexy warrior princess who is clever, intelligent, capable and can take down the baddies is a very seductive treat. Allow the female protagonist and some aliens to be drop-dead gorgeous. If Bioware can take the heat for the disappointment of ME3’s ending, then they don’t have to worry about the crazed rantings of only 1,124 radicalized XX chromosomes. It will blow over.

3)  In-depth romances, affectionate conversations, and many mutual scenes to be sure. Take off the bra and allow just a hint of feminine shape and shadow.

4) Though cuddling up and talking in bed is fine, and intimacy is desirable, they really should be sharing their strategic ideas and battle concerns. The romance character should be discussing with the protagonist their ideas and setting priorities. They are both intelligent and have battlefield experience – so give the couple opportunities to put their heads together to get the job done and go home.  It was crappy that Ashley was absent in ME2 and relegated to a hospital bed for most of ME-3. She was my MaleShep’s romance. She had excellent military training and experience – far more than Liara or Tali, and especially in ME-3 when she was a Lt. Commander and made a Spectre. Shepard should have asked her for input so they could work together.

I want a game that feels like Mass Effect, not like Dragon Age: Inquisition. Give me a character to play as interesting as Jennifer Hale's Commander Shepard, not a two dimension cardboard figure like the Inquisitor. Above all don't make her "superhuman" just to appeal to the narcissism of your players. Don't make the world larger than you can make it interesting. Give me side quests that are meaningful. Put story and characters before anything else. Please *don't* include multiplayer, or if you really have to, implement it as a second thought and not as a model. If I wanted an MMORPG I could play anything else. That's the last thing I would want in a Mass Effect game.

I started to replay ME1 after many, many years out of nostalgia with the announcement of MEA.

Honestly, lots of bad clunky parts to it. One thing ME1 did do that I don't recall either of ME2 or ME3 do is capture that sense of awe of being in space, which IMO is key to good sci-fi.

I hope MEA captures that feeling.

If we're still playing as a member of a massive organization protecting the (new) galaxy, do away with credits. It's like the technology for expense accounts was lost or something.

Shepard could've won the Reaper War much faster if not for all those evenings stapling receipts to funding forms, but Alliance accounting is not a department you want to get on the wrong side of.

Requesting feature to allow Alliance accountants to be horribly killed.

The apocalyptic genocide of all life is not a reason for eschewing due diligence and good accounting practice (apparently).

I also support having a mission or two where the entire squad is involved, similar to ME2's suicide mission or the mission in the Citadel DLC.

I would love to be able to name my weapons as I acquire them. I loved that feature in DAI.

I don't want to play a messianic character again.

Primary - zero laziness on the devs part when it comes to net code and pc ports for controls.

Even with the (assumed) great content and features coming, it will be a gigantic fail to have the system be like the clusterf-k that is DAI.

Lots of people gonna hate me for this, but for once I'd like not to have the protagonist to be such a special privileged messiah snowflake like Shepard. There is nothing wrong with this unless it happens to be the case in three games in a row. Its enough and time for something new.

@In Exile:  Also just started playing ME again - and while I don't care much for the awe factor, I will say that I feel like several NPCs have referenced both my "Colonial" and "War Hero" status and I like that a lot, I also like how "human" I am... that's a HUGE call for me to be glad we're playing one race (again I wouldn't care if it were Krogan, so long as it's one race)... I also just regained an appreciation for "Shepard" in the sense that he/she is the main character of a trilogy.  I think it's a strong aspect of the series... I actually find myself looking forward to carrying this new Shepard into two more games even knowing the hideous ending that awaits.

I think ME does a lot more with it's one character than the DA franchise managed to do with its 3 (and I enjoyed DA:O and DA:I).
