There's so much coming out this year I'm fine with it being next year! With Mirrors edge out early next year, EA has a lot going on before holiday 2016. With MEA coming out in 2016, Bioware will have more time to develop a game with the story and the worlds we all want to see.

I know I wanted it sooner, but looking back that was being unrealistic. ME3 seemed a bit rushed(imo), so I'm ok with it coming out in 2016. Let's be happy we have a Mass Effect game coming! Let's show our support so Bioware will reveal more about a game I'm sure everyone will be anxiously waiting for.

Don't forget Star Citizen :D

I think holidays is always a good time for a release, marketing-wise. That's also the reason I doubt it'll be delayed any longer

Yes, because they are in mid production.  They are time to iron out the kinks, and really just focus on making the game.  Is it completed? Doubt it.  Who knows if they are even 50% completed.  But I just want them to take their time!  No need to rush!

Provided that it's enough time to completely finish the game, yeah it's the best time.

I agree that it probably won't get a delay, because holiday marketing, but I wouldn't care if they needed extra time to finish it.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind too much a delay.  I still think the best release date for ME:A is Nov 8th, 2016 or Nov 22nd, 2016.

I don't see it coming out until February of 2017. I honestly just want the game to be done and coherent; I can wait a little while.

2 and 3 were delayed. I'm lucky for that. I bought 2 while it was being advertised during college basketball games. I bought 2 after seeing a bunch of ads for it during a University of Kentucky basketball game on my way home while I was in a persuasive state.

Any time is a good time for me as long as the game is good and fun to play.

I am fine with the current release date but don't keep us waiting too long. I am admittedly no expert but they mentioned back in 2014 or so that ME:A was "in a playable state" and during E3 2014 we saw a couple of locations, two characters (an N7 Solder and a horned Krogan, possibly Drack?) and an incomplete CIC and Galaxy map.

Admittedly in 2015 the E3 only succeeded in more or less confirming the leak and showing us a dissapointing little CGI trailer but still, they must be a good ways complete.

Holiday 2016 would probably mean December. It's good plenty of time ahead to iron the game out.

Can't possibly say if we can't know what 'Holiday' this is.

Christmas season? North Hemisphere's Summer? US Thanksgiving? UK Queen's Birthday? Maybe a bank holiday?

As far away as it can possibly be within the given timeframe, most likely. December 31st. (Or 20th if they want it in stockings I guess.)

"Holiday 2016" means October or November 2016. Almost nothing gets released between the traditional Black Friday madness in the US and Christmas.

Above all else I don't want the game being rushed.

I would be perfectly fine with MEA getting pushed back to spring 2017 if it means not having to rush the game out the door.

Of course. If you want to release a game, the holidays are always the best time. Of course, it may not be in MEA's favor but EA wants the bling. Let's just hope it doesn't get gutted like a certain game that came out in 2014.

If it wasn't for Fallout 4 coming this november I'd care a bit more about ME:A releasing at the end of 2016 (if it's not delayed). But we have FO4, Xcom 2, Still playing W3 and recently started DA:I again. I'm cool, it's still kinda hard to take ME out of my head, but it's something.

Don't forget Star Citizen :D

I sincerely doubt SC will come on 2016, I think the first portion of the game will be released as Beta on 2017.

Don't put what we have seen to be how complete the game is, otherwise you get games like Arkham Knight for the PC. Just because they said the game is in a playable state doesn't mean the AI works or all of the systems work. They might have the basics done such as movement and shooting, but any refinements to those systems are probably what they are working on.

Mass Effect 3 wasn't rushed in your opinion.

It was rushed in everyone's opinion.

So I'm fine with 2016. Make a good game, Bioware.

Imagine the marketing Hype for a Nov 8th, 2016 release.. BioWare streams the game Nov 7th for their N7 day. Some people have been talking about seeing a Let's Play before purchase..

Holiday 2016... huh? That is right around the time Star Wars: Rogue One is scheduled to release in theaters. My inner space fiction fanboy-ness will be in overload.

I've said this before, but seriously, don't hold your breaths for a Holiday 2016 release. I can already smell a delay to early 2017.
