One snippet of a song in a announcement trailer does not a soundtrack make. I thought it was brilliant, but I'm a big Man in Black fan. Some of yal need to take an hour or two and listen to some Johnny Cash. To call it "cowboy music" is a disservice to what Johnny Cash was about. For example, check out his cover of "Hurt", originally done by Nine Inch Nails.

The trailer opened the EA presentation at E3. They did not tell you that it was coming. The whole point of using the Johnny Cash music was that for the first few seconds you'd be questioning if the game was some new wild west franchise. It was a bit of fun, with the added bonus of that feeling of frontier exploration that the wild west evokes. I'd be absolutely shocked if the actual game has a country soundtrack.

Am I the only one who didn't really mind the music?
You can't be. I thought it set an entirely interesting vibe for the game. You might say I thought it was fitting.

Science Fiction and Westerns have many similarities. It threw me off at first, but it was an inspired choice. Hopefully we can begin taming new lands late 2016.

Cowboy Bebop? What does that have to do with anything? Wait, no, that's a great idea.

Its a perfect fit. Mordin was the Clint Eastwood of Salarians. Westerns have been a source of inspiration for the entire ME series, its not new.
In this trailer, you are a cowboy, riding out to the wild frontier. Its a metaphor, and its a pretty simple one at that.
Also, Johnny Cash is timeless and immortal.

Other question: if Mass Effect is in the futere, why people can't listen modern-day musics? Maybe the n7 trooper enjoy a Johnny Cash while chose his next journey. Many people still enjoy a Bethoven this days!

This one I prefer.
And the responses to OP for daring to not like the Johnny Cash are disturbing. Now, you can go ahead and like the Johnny Cash version, but surely you can appreciate one of the iconic theme songs being used?

Why. Why does the song used in a reveal trailer for a game(that's soundtrack will be entirely different) matter to anyone.
I ask this in the form of a normal sentence because I don't really expect an answer, I'm just posing it to myself.

It wouldnt mind if a N7 trooper uses the radio to listen to Jonny Cash, but it doesnt fit to a trailer to the next ME game.

Yikes, that would have been the most boring announcement trailer I've ever seen. At least if you had put it to some generic Two Steps From Hell, it might get someone's attention.

Sorry I never wanted to insult Jonny Chash or Cowboy Bebop. And sorry that I dont know him.
Not wanting to insult someone and not having the intelligence to even spell their name right, also putting the words "Cowboy Bebop" in a sentence. At best you're trolling.

Because by god we have to complain about something and this is the first little tidbit that the legion of the miserable can sink their teeth into.

Slapping on iconic music doesn't always equal "better", the original version wins easily here

How can you not like Johnny Cash,I like the original soundtrack gave off a new frontier feel,a mix of old and new.

Why doesn't it? Johnny Cash existed in the MEU.

Edit: just watched your version. What trash. Terrible syncing and terrible choice of music. Overall, very low effort. Also, must you always put stars in every single title you do? Im ashamed to have bumped this butchering of the trailer in what is clearly a quick clickbait grab for views.
