If we go by the ending of ME3, where the little shild wants to hear another story about Shep, then Liara and company are long gone.

 

This, to me, is a good thing. New faces, new story, new enemies, new allies, new friends, new everything.

 

 

Look. We wanted Morrigan, Leliana and Hawke in DAI... what we got were cameos.

If Liara didn't get enough time, then Jack sure as hell didn't- though, she arguably showed equal, if not superior character development.

 

As much as I would like to see these characters again, they just would not be the same since we are not Shepard anymore. We'd lose all of that past with them as a new character- which is reason enough to hope we don't see or hear much from them again.

Forced cameos are always a bad thing. They make the game universe seem much smaller than it should, and can also have the effect of making previously established characters less interesting. Liara is one of my favorite characters in the series, but I wouldn't want her to appear just for the nostalgic trip down memory lane. If anything I'd only want her to make an appearance in a future Mass Effect game if there were solid story reasons for her being there, because she is one of my favorite characters.

I'm expecting Liara to at least have a cameo. Possibly Grunt, too, if he survived your games. They'll both still be alive.

 

It might just be by vidcom or something, but I can easily see Liara showing up. Makes sense the shadowbroker, galaxy-renowned archaeologist, and one of the most honored of matriarchs among her people would be involved with the Pathfinder project.

 

I like her, so I have no problem with her being an occasional presence like Hackett or something.

 

EDIT: Really hope the OP is being facetious about the "didn't get enough time" and "second chance" stuff though, cus that's not at all accurate. lol In fact... reading the OP again, I'm now thinking this is a troll thread. Still think Liara could easily be cameo'd in ME:A though.

She is my favorite character, but I have no strong feelings on this subject. It would probably ruin my happy ending headcanon if she appears in the Andromeda galaxy (see Dragon Age and Leliana). But seeing the haters rage would be almost worth it.
