Citadel and Archives sound good. I hope we get something like that if there's some reflection in Andromeda. And I hope there will be!

"

No.

Telling others what to think and how to behave?"

So instead you decide to tell me... That my way of thinking and acting is wrong and I should not do it. In essence, telling ME what to think and how to behave.

You woke up just a little bit hypocrite today, did you not?

And yes, you people should understand that the original trilogy IS OVER and this is a new one, separated. Bioware is saying for over 2 years that shepard´s tale is ended. Get this through you head, kids. That´s the direction that they decided to take.

"The strength lies in the attraction to the trilogy, would be crazy not to leverage this into the new game. The DEV's won't (I hope) forget this."

They won´t. You will probably see humans, krogans, turians, asari, salarians... But also a plethora of new species as well.

And if you believe that telling people how to think and behave is always a bad thing, I must assume that you are against any kind of political power, police force and judicial system. And that all cannibals, serial killers, mass murderers, thieves, rapers and child molesters should run free.

Not necessary for ME:A as it can be addressed in one cutscene question:

'what colour was the cloud as you sped away from the Milky Way?'

  They aren't galaxy hopping for nothing you know and also setting it "long after" the trilogy is a hint that they want this as far removed as possible from the RBG.

The trilogy decisions were becoming unmanageable even before the ending happened.

Agreed, anyone else remember the protests how the Rachni decision from ME1 was handled in the ME3 or how the dark-mater subplot was dropped?  Sure that was all lost in the RBG chaos but the decision tree was becoming a mess.

Best they put some distance via time & space between them in this soft-reboot and be subtle about the big decisions in the trilogy.  During game creation have a few questions sure:  Shepard's gender and LI.  Depending when the ship left:  Genophage cured?  Quarian/Geth result?  and ending decision.

Definitely. Even if it doesn't reference our choices in this game, maybe bioware would want a dlc that does, or ME:5/A2/? that does, or maybe they can throw in some dialogue.

Other than that, I would just love to see a narrative of my choices from mass effect narrated by Joker who has had a long day and wants to get the story over with.

I think that one of the reasons for the new galaxy is to put a lot of space between the soft reboot and the original trilogy.  My guess is that all references to the Milky Way will mention that the colonists left during the Reaper war and don't know how it turned out or have any practical way to communicate.  I think the focus will be so bent on survival that people won't have the  luxury of anything other than mild curiosity.  Since the new game will only be available on new gen and PC, the devs might just return to importing save games.

Here is a Question,

do you think we should have a mass effect keep like the dragon age series as the DA Keep to keep track of the choices we do throughout the original set of games and this game if this is the start of a new triology/series?

~Herkles~

Naw.  If we can't keep playing with Shep, let's start a fresh...with a new "keep".

while ME:A takes place in a different galaxy, if the leak is to be believed, the Arc ship left during the timeline of the original ME Trilogy, so this means there are some events that might be reflected in ME:A.

This could mean that a Keep type thing could be used to dictate what these changes are. It would be nice to have a few references, just help tie the lore of the Trilogy with ME:A

Edit: correcting a mistake

Keep wouldn't be needed if it's as separate as it seems. They're going there to colonize right? And communication with milky way would likely be impossible. The only thing that matters is why they went there and what their goal or mission was which sounds straightforward. It's actually an easy way out of everything that happened prior to it because none of it really matters (beyond maybe the reason you go there is to save the races by building colonies because the reapers were coming which is kind of cool).

We need a Keep of the legend of Shepard because we need his reputation for the NPCs to warn us about before we fight him as an antagonist.

I doubt there will be a keep. But if there is, I hope backs comp for XB1 also includes, ME2 and M3. Because I'll do another playthrough and I'll replay ME3MP on XB1!

I'd love it for a mass effect trilogy. Let me make a custom Me 1 and 2 playthrough so I can do 3 with this new set.

But andromeda doesn't need one and no point in going back for me1-3. I'd still love the feature in case anything is going to be references.
