The Krogan companion must have a Charge Attack and shout "I AM KROGAN" while doing it.
I'm betting that the next krogan will be very different from krogan we've seen before., actually. How about a krogan Infiltrator, or Engineer?

I'd rather a Vangaurd. Krogan shaman. We have seen many different kinds of Krogan but I want to get to know a spiritual leader of the Krogan better.
I like this. That would be a great change for the series. Also, I liked both the shaman in ME2 and Eve, so I'd be happy with that. ![]()
I wonder if we would get a new squadmate that's a new race

I would guess so. I would figure that they would probably be a bit of an exposition dump on lore about the new galaxy. I'm curious to see what the new race(s) might look like.

Personally hoping for a ME version of the Zabraks ![]()
Personally hoping for a ME version of the Zabraks
Well, folks were requesting a monogendered male version of Asari. Zabraks could be the route to go, although the number of people calling their PCs "Maul" or "Darth" would be pretty high among SW fans. ![]()

But I like the Zabrak females ![]()
But I like the Zabrak females
Eh, the Asari can mutate if the writers demand it. All of that alien DNA they mate with might have taken a toll, along with too much biotics in their food and air. They mutated into something like the Zabrak, with a few "real" Asari left.
Win-win? I know, I'm being evil tonight and I like the Zabrak ladies as well.

As long he have his Charge Attack and shout "I AM KROGAN" sure, why not?

I don't see how that would work...
Males are necassary to create offspring, it if we were all genetically modified and could create babies with psychic powers, it would be more useful that we could all carry, birth and feed offspring, the male sex would be unnecessary and the female sex would be an obsolete term and we would just be humans.
With only men, we couldn't carry babies or give birth, so our species would be either synthetic based and test tube babies or die out pretty fast.
Or just different entirely, I guess.
Well they could go the Namekian (Dragon Ball Z) route which involves eggs
That being said I'd rather it be a different race that monogender than my "Zabrak"ish idea lol ![]()

I wasn't being that serious, I promise. Keith and I have been friends for quite awhile, so I like giving him grief sometimes. ![]()
@Ares Me too.

I'd be thrilled to have a version of Asari with both genders.
I kind of really want a male empath.

Sorry. I type up before processing.
Hype is the strongest drug.
I'm just excited to make any conversation about this game, and my roommates need a break.
Also I didnt think of eggs. Or sea horses.
All good. Just be careful with hype. I watched a lot of buddies of mine on the DA forums get crushed because they raised their expectations too high. I'm excited too, but I'm leery. I enjoyed DA:I, thankfully, but there was some issues in that game that I'd rather not see repeated in ME:A. <hugs> Have fun, but try not to read too much into every little tidbit of information.
I also know how you feel. A lot of my friends aren't gamers (they're parents and/or too broke,) and while my husband is a sweetheart, he isn't into DA or ME. I have to give him a break sometimes too. ![]()
What are empaths exactly? Mind reading sex?
Empaths can feel the emotions of others as if they were their own. Think Deanna Troi from Star Trek.
Another race I thought was cool in Star Wars was the Gormak

That would also be neat. I like the idea of having a humanoid squad mate that looks a little...off. You know, not quite as alien as, say, the Drell, but not quite as human as the Asari.

Lol! It doesn't have to be sexual, even though they are often sensualized. Did you ever watch Star Trek: TNG? Deanna Troi was an empath. They sense, and can usually communicate, emotions. A telepath like an Asari with have elements of an empath: If they can't sense specific thoughts, then they can sense general feelings. The implication of an empath is that they can sense emotions but not "read minds."
I'd be really excited if we ended up with a male character who had either ability.
Edit: Nat beat me to mentioning Deanna. ![]()

I actually earned the nickname Deanna in high school. People felt like they could come to me with their problems, and usually did at all hours of the night. I never minded though. ![]()
It would be nice to have an empath, instead of total memory recall. Am I the only one that found Thane incredibly creepy when he did that?

I did that. I'm going to have to be cautious about how much excitement I let myself build up.
Yeah, thanks for the warning.
