An Asari Vanguard pirate/ raider who isn't a gang boss like Aria, female Turian Sentinel, Krogan Infiltrator who is more introverted than the rest of their species, a male human Adept who isn't boring or vanilla compared to the rest of the cast.

 

I dunno. I just like the idea of a Krogan who isn't hyperviolent as loveable as they are.

This is an entirely NEW galaxy... give us new races!

 

I think it would be very VERY ballsy to suggest one race or another went extinct.  

 

It's laughable that the Quarians found a homeworld... and then we left the galaxy.  

 

My personal vote?  Quarians and Asari are extinct (to me, that fits the events of ME 3) - or, at least didn't make the trip.  

 

I believe we had Krogan on Earth in the last battle - and the Turians didn't seem very devastated at the time... so they should be fine.  In fact, I think it would be awesome if the Turians are the ones that picked up humanity and the Krogan (etc) and used their arguablybetter ships.

 

Of course I want Hanar, Elcor and Volas because they were kicked to the sideline last galaxy.

I would love to see a Drell male engineer who could be from one of the hub main world's in Andromeda, and he could be a good source of information on society (if there is any established government)

Drells have the amazing memory and seeing that the species was really underutilized it would be nice to have a character like that. Maybe he could be agnostic and sarcastic, something different than what we saw in Thane, Kolyat, and Feron.

One thing I'd really like to see is a quarian who no longer needs the face mask or the full suit. 

 

Aside from that, I'm always hoping for a krogan or a drell on the team.

 

Also, I hope our pilot is a volus.

All I really want is a bad @$$ female Turian Infiltrator, but instead of the typical Turian sniper make her a CQC specialist. Someone trained to infiltrate, overcome electronic security and use her TC to close with and or flank her enemies and wreck them with a heavy duty shotgun & machine pistol.

A drell that isn't a recolor of Thane and has no ninja moves nor is religious. Maybe even female to really spice things up with that species.

Not that I'd mind a male religious drell with ninja moves and Thane's clothes. Drell is my favorite alien species so I'm really hopeful that there'll be at least one major drell character. Extra points if they're a love interest.

I'd love to know more about this Cora character also. Love me some biotic ladies

Rumor has it (from the leak?) that it's 7 squad members this time around.  And, if the leak is to be believed, we know a little bit about two of them.  Leaving 5 blank slates.

Not-Bimbo Asari - I really don't want an asari (Liara has spoiled the race), but I'm going to say we're going to get one because Shatner. However, I'd like one that isn't just some "Shepard-sama" waifu I'm forced to talk about how wonderful she is. Samara did this. Now give me another non-fetishized aspect of asari culture

 

 

I liked this one a lot! A non-stripper, Matriarch Aethyta-like, battle hardened asari with battle scars, wearing heavy armor (armor WITHOUT a cleavage window) almost like... an asari Zaeed.

 

 

 

 

I still don't know the exact time frame for this new game, but people seem to be saying it takes place way after the events of ME3. If it were closer, I'd wonder if there's going to be any characters transplanted from the MW galaxy to this one to be squad members.

2) a male love interest that does not have a dead lover, estranged child, fatal disease, or lies/betrays us

3) a female love interest that has some or all of the above, for variety!

5) a la Dog in DA, a tiny thresher maw companion

omg So true I'll never forget that time my Shepard slept with Shi'ala or whatever her name was (the Consort). I was like, What???? Did I accidentally select the "Let's fook" dialogue option?!?!
