Okay this question is probably wayyyyyyyy out of date; however, I just started gaming on my mac and I use it more than my PC.
I've played DA2 tons on the 360; however, on the Mac I can only get the basic game and no docs from origins.
Can this be bought on cd somewhere or am I just SOL? I've been spoiled by my gear, I'll live, but I'm sad I can't even get the extra missions or Seb online.
The only option I can think of is to do the steam engine thing and run windows on my mac (ironic since windows was designed to make your pc run like a mac).
I'm average computer savvy. Not as bright as your average 12 year old, great for a 40 year old who once programmed in BASIC on a TRS 80 Model 4 (someone will remember the trash 80).
One, how hard is this to accomplish?
Two, will this force me to repurchase the game, again, for pc? If the answer is yes, how good is BioWare's customer service? Any problem I've had would not be something that could have been fixed by Origins, and EA generally sucked when all my stuff came in broken...I accept these facts; however, I really don't want to repurchase DA2 for PC since I bought it for Mac...it's just the principal. I WILL, but I might whine a little...on DQ...quietly...
Will the DLC Content for DA2 ever be Downloadable for Mac

Well I have the Mac version with all the dlc. I bought it last summer and at that time it was all still up for download on the EA/Origin website. I just checked and now I only see Legacy and Mark of the Assassin still up:

Hmm. Is the rest of the dlc content just not available anymore, or did they move things around and bury it somewhere? I guess it's a good thing I backed up my files then. Although if I remember the dlc was still full priced anyway, while you can get the game for cheap now.... Which sucked. If you are just worried about armor/weapon packs, it's probably easier to just go grab some mods at this point (they still work on the Mac version). It would be nice to have the black emporium and Seb though.
As far as I know they've never released an "ultimate"/bundle version of the game with all the dlc like they did for DAO. Shame.
Edit: Nevermind, I remembered wrong, I found it. It's available through the bioware site here, not the EA site, both for PC and Mac:

Confusing. But there you go.
