Really depends on what you consider best ending. You really didn't need it to win the game.
I'm all fine with bonuses being given to people playing Multiplayer. Why not? it's not subtracting from anyone elses experience unless they want the same experience for free.

It's like complaining that another co-worker took out some extra overtime and earned more than you did.

Indeed. All SP hate towards MP is motivated by jealousy. They are mad because they are bad.

It's not even that. You don't have to be good at multiplayer to get the best ending, just play multiplayer some. You don't even have to succeed although if you have the intelligence of an amoeba turd you can probably succeed on bronze. It's about being ****** lazy and stubborn at this point.  You can even find a group of people who don't like playing multiplayer to play together with. Who gives a damn if you suck or if you're awesome, it's a damn PVE game? No one with half a brain cell thinks that this game means anything competitively.

Multiplayer is what keeps games going..not single player campaigns. Bioware should re-route resources from single player into Multiplayer which is by far superior.

In Mass Effect, multiplayer will NEVER be the main focus. Only a complement. Nothing more.

Seriously though, the multiplayer was nice. Despite primarily playing for the story obviously, I do want it to return. Shoot things in the face with your friends in your favourite 'verse for a few matches, what's not to like? It would be great if you could bring your SP character for MP, however. Hoping he's not going to be another obscenely central figure in the universe, it could work just fine.

I predicted the thread would get takers, but it has exceeded any predictions on my part. The weird thing is that it seems to have enacted some magical formula whereby the only people being genuinely taken in by the thread are people who fully deserve what's happening.

 

I won't claim to understand it, but I have to confess, it is fascinating to watch.

Any posts by me about the blight that are the lesser species, as well as the resulting uninformed antiquarian jealousy threads about suit rats.

There's also the constant dehumanization of geth and hatred directed at their cheating ways, but in fairness they actually are soulless toasters so it's okay.

I certainly hope MP never becomes the primary focus. Some of us require pause and play to get through a shooter. Also, we like story stuff.

You can't win and its already an issue and all thats out is a teaser.  The SP will always be a pain.  Go with the universally loved MP and just dump whatever is left over in SP.  ME3 was good...DAMP is garbage and a step back.  Get the train back on the tracks and lets go!

 

I love single player games more than multiplayer if I want a multiplayer shooter I would waste my money on crap games like Titan Fall or Destiny.

You're missing the point.  If we just gave MP 3/4 or more of all resources allotted for ME: A we wouldn't have to play "crap" games like Titan Fall or Destiny.  We could have an AMAZING MP game to play in ME: A.  ME3 laid the groundwork and it is a hell of a foundation.  SP is whats holding the amazing could be MP game back and no matter what happens it won't be appreciated anyways. Yes, still have a SP, but focus.....

I would rather play an average SP mode over and over than a great MP mode you see I get more fun out of a good SP than I do with a great MP game! 

 

Hell if were not for the Galactic Readiness/Breath scene being tied to MP before Bioware fixed it, (which BTW basically FORCED me to a play a feature that I did NOT want to play), I would never touched the ME3 MP mode with a ten foot pole. And FTR the Breathe scene was the ONLY reason I ever played the MP mode. Since that is thankfully fixed I have no reason to play the MP in ME3 now and I don't care or want to play it, and it's the same with DA:I.

 

MP is not for me. I'm a solo act. I don't care for it don't care if it's PVP. Co-Opt, MMOs, or whatever, I play games to get away from reality and that includes real life humans, If you love MP games great more power to you. But I don't I hate that MP modes get shoved into far to many games like ME3 and DA:I that IMHO would have been much better without it.
