Multiplayer is full of hate speech and no one cares. Reference that fact on the forum and that's when people get offended. Makes sense.
Did you just...? You're going there? After this?
Who can forget the way he rallied his troops by screaming "Niggar" at the top of his lungs?
Maybe the guy who thinks it's okay to say ^ that ^ is not the best person to listen to when it comes to hate speech, hmm?
Sultrily: Hawt.
With barely contained rapeface: do your research quickly, Admiral's orders.
Actually, there is good news. As the offspring of both a Volus and an Elcor, I had to overcome the speech impediments of both. I can't find the original post explaining it, but it was really good. People liked it (or so they told me.)
I will commence researching. I'm thinking I'd best start by looking up "induction ports."
This is literally the worst.

Absolutely true. We could all rest easier if Bioware would just confirm MP is of more importance. Keep your fingers and toes crossed. If it actually happens there will be one heck of a MP game to play soon!

They did that ME:A could easily be the last BioWare game ever made, because their fanbase is built on great stories, characters, and universes. I have yet to see any of that done in a MP-heavy game.
Thank you. I have always preferred to have an irritating avatar, as opposed to an irritating personality. I was thinking of switching it soon, but in your honour, I will keep it.
Dammit, I just want to watch Zoolander now. ![]()

I certainly hope MP never becomes the primary focus. Some of us require pause and play to get through a shooter. Also, we like story stuff.
Two separate development teams, they do not have to take anything away from each other. The idea that no one seems to be able to grasp is they want these separate entities to compliment each other not take away from each other. That's why MP had influences on SP in ME3 because they wanted you to play it some. I don't believe this was to be bastards and force you to play but rather encourage you to enjoy every aspect of the game you shelled out your hard earned cash for. All I ask is you play the game, give it a chance, then by all means if you don't enjoy it feel free to criticize.
It's gonna be funny with expectations being ME3MP 2 and we get DAMP in space. The tears will be delicious.
Now you've gone too far. You are an evil person.
DAMP should be burned at the stake. I will not be buying another one. You can bet on that.

DAMP was a failure mostly because that series gameplay sucks and always has. As long as we get decent TPS mechanics instead craptastic RPG gamplay, with 3 classes that have a bunch of identical weapons with different stats and horrible servers, it should be fine.

We're talking about a Bioware/EA game with 3 maps. THREE MAPS! Up until one was added as DLC....so 4 maps. Not some indy dev. Bioware and EA. Disgraceful.
Including the 3 DLC characters there are 15 to play.
Very shallow gameplay as you said.
If it was even possible...they made a loot system WORSE than ME3 had. It actually makes that system seem like a gem...and thats saying something because it sucked too.
Weapons don't level up at all. You can get the same staff 320394820934820920439 times in a row and really all you want is that ONE item that is the top tier.
I could go on and on and on.
There are some improvements such as multiple abilities to choose from and you can place them on the buttons you choose, but keep it FAR away from ME MP.
I play it because there is nothing else I currently care about, but as soon as something does I'm out. I also still play MEMP to this day.
I actually don't mind SP and MP crossover, in fact I would encourage more of it (although implemented differently than ME3). I will admit, I was one of the few in the beginning who vowed never to touch ME3MP, but after the endings, I still wanted to enjoy the game, but couldn't fathom going through SP again (in fact I've only completed the game once and that was before the extended cut). Playing the MP allowed me to continue enjoying a game I otherwise would have put down.
And made me extremely jealous at some of the powers that were added.

Wow. I hope I never get on your bad side. You're brutal.

Shooter gameplay is always dull. Except the original Delta Force - that was fun (if you were a sniper).DAMP was a failure mostly because that series gameplay sucks and always has. It would be interesting if a game like this relied on Skyrim-style archery. I might play that.
Your opinion aside, shooter gameplay is objectively one with a great number of variables, chief among them being the massively variable skill gap in areas such as accuracy, target acquisition speed, target prioritization, recoil/ bloom control, differing weapon behavior, projectile physics and manipulating animations (reloads as an example).
Can't comment on Skyrim. The series' combat started as essentially a hybrid TPS with tertiary RPG casting elements, and it has actually moved more toward the former since, so I wouldn't get your hopes up for anything except possibly a return to ME1 mechanics with the massive targeting assist and identical, easy to use weapons, but still most damage done by shooting things. Especially not when Soldier is overwhelmingly the most popularly used Class in SP and MP.

I wouldn't mind a return to some of ME1's elements such as tiered armor weights, grenades and ammo being weapon mods and a non universal cooldown (at least separate the different class cooldowns with tech abilities all sharing a cooldown and same with biotic and combat).

People get offended because thats absolute bullshit. What a cowardly thing to say if you're not going to back that up with something. Obviously we're throwing around racial slurs etc over there in the multiplayer section and the moderators aren't doing anything. Do you even remotely understand how ****** stupid that sounds?
I'd rather all those things were stat-driven in SP. MP can do what it wants; I don't have to play it.Your opinion aside, shooter gameplay is objectively one with a great number of variables, chief among them being the massively variable skill gap in areas such as accuracy, target acquisition speed, target prioritization, recoil/ bloom control, differing weapon behavior, projectile physics and manipulating animations (reloads as an example).
The relevant difference is that projectiles travel at a finite speed. I would like that, and I would like combat to take place at sufficient range that the speed is relevant. I mentioned Skyrim's archery because the arrows are actually quite slow. Can't comment on Skyrim.
