Multiplayer is full of hate speech and no one cares. Reference that fact on the forum and that's when people get offended. Makes sense.

People get offended because thats absolute bullshit. What a cowardly thing to say if you're not going to back that up with something. Obviously we're throwing around racial slurs etc over there in the multiplayer section and the moderators aren't doing anything. Do you even remotely understand how ****** stupid that sounds?
I'm guessing that the reason that poster disappeared after posting that was because they Googled "hate speech" and found out what the phrase actually means.

more like a human (MP Master Race) using a laser pointer to make a stupid cat (SP peasants) angrily crash face first into walls over and over again.
I liked ME 3 multiplayer but it wasn't a primary focus to me, single player should remain the dominant focus.
Again separate development teams, so I'm hoping that both teams focus on their tasks. SP is going to be story and mechanics driven, MP will be primarily mechanics driven.

But not in such a way that the resources spent on one would have been spent on the other, in a parallel universe where (for example) ME3 didn't have a multiplayer component.

I'm not sure why some people get bent over these sort of threads.
For one, you're just being trolled. Maybe a couple of the people are exclusively into the multiplayer, but most probably got into the series back when it was single player only.
More importantly, this has absolutely zero chance of actually happening. This request has about as much chance as being implemented as the request to cut romances. (which also is a troll thread that people fell for)
