Are you talking about Sten?
The MP guys were Good At enraging SP people. Some were a bit too obvious Though .
Talking about the wuss Hawke actually beating the Arishok. Plot armor ftw.
How bad ass he was. Dude is even dual wielding 2 handed weapons and here comes the PC prancing about playing through the story mode. Fight and Arishok loses?
Calling the part of fanbase you seem to beling to, enlightened and complaining about the the complaints of other players is really a sign of maturity.
By the way Battlefield is an EA game. No sane company creates in house competition.
Who's complaining, other than SP babbies? I merely illuminated the facts; I don't actually care that people get mad over the endings or auto dialogue, or other such amusing irrelevancies relating to the SP scrub mode.
They aren't the same niche, apart from both being ideally designed for the MP Master Race. One is a contemporary PvP FPS and the other a PvE Science Fiction TPS. No sane company would forego trying to get more market share by pandering to the same gullible SP peasants who will buy the game regardless, and have already proven themselves to be incapable of generating the same profits as discerning MP connoisseurs.

Well, to be Fair we knew this would happen since the CGI trailer .
He's Not serious. He's trying to enrage (SP) people.
If you can't even get my gender right than don't presume to speak for me. Also lol@ implying that rustling SP extremists requires "trying". I'd have to try very hard not to offend them if I still wished to elucidate the facts.

Well get em girl. Pimp slapping the baddies with the facts and still being entertaining. Couldn't do it better myself.

I forgot about your Signature, Though I meant to write he/she anyway. My apologies.
I was talking about SP people in general, Not just extremists.
Roleplaying is a significant part of an RPG. But so is being a game. If the gameplay isn't enjoyable, then it has failed. And, given that, in cRPGs at least, combat is a major focus of the gameplay, the combat has to be enjoyable.
BioWare used to be good at that.
But among their 8 most recent releases, there's only 1 with combat I would actually describe as fun, and that was DAO.
DAI's is kind of fun (on par with ME1), Jade Empire was mostly frustrating, and DA2 and ME2 were both just really tedious.

Prime example of why MP > SP
Then let's talk about 1-4 regular soldiers continuously and repeatedly beating 100s of enemies. But sure, that's all the skill of the players and it's got nothing to do with gameplay mechanics and balancing.

I can't say I agree here. We can see real life examples of this. Like if you put 4 mp gamers against a horde of SP baddies you will get the same result. Dat plot armor though!
The list might be long and I might miss a few names here, but I just wanted to throw a few names out and let them know we miss them. Perhaps they have now joined the SP Therapy Thread to never return, but here in this thread we will not forget them or their great additions.
Heres to you, you glorious and dedicated baddies.
In Exile - who put himself in Exile.
Kotor Effect - Who tried to fight fire with fire and got burned.
Alan C9 - Great SP knowledge minimal MP skillz.
KaiserShep - Saw the light, but turned away from it.
Heathen Oxman - An abomination to Qunari
Wolfryck - His 2 posts that had possibly the most amount of salt in the thread.
Special Mentions
Tali's Sweat - came on strong and held it down for MP community.
My other account is banned - He went out doing what he loved
Gone but not forgotten
and anyone else I forgot. Fun times.

Might be a problem if the MP enemies weren't composed entirely of mindless zombie husks and stupid zombie robots vs all manner of human and alien Commandoes, mercs and and other galactic badasses.
SP is far worse and the protagonist far more Mary sue-ish in that regard. You fight through similar sized hordes but of actual self determinant and supposedly trained opponents in several cases.

You mentioned "challenging Battlefield," not me but ok seems I misunderstood that statement.
How much profit was generated by multiplayer? I am genuinely curious and I found no data during a (admittedly short) search. I assume it´s profitable
All "single players are gullible" is a really broad generalization.

Isnt that a tad ironic? Only suckers pay for random loot you can earn by simply playing regularly.

What do we know about player payment behaviour? I've played thousands of hours on MP never buying microstuff. However I bought almost all of the DLC - I think I passed one of the customization builds.
It was because of the MP keeping me playing. I've never bought any DLC of the trilogy before.

I'll be honest, a bought a few packs each week. I also bought every SP DLC to the game. The only issue with me as a buyer of packs, wasn't the RNG, it was that the store didn't scale to the inventory.

Does anyone seriously think games like CoD and Battlefield are competitors to ME3MP, other than people that think their all the same just because it happens to involve MP?

Similar sized hoards? SP has fewer banshees total than MP has in a bronze match. The only match that compares is the one with cyber Kung Lang and his harem of Phantoms.

It requires you to aim, and some SPer's don't like doing that.

Money is simply a means to an end. Time is the greater resource because no matter how much money you have you only have so much time. Maybe someone wants to play with the best gear and doesn't want to grind the game?
All "single players are gullible" is a really broad generalization.
Good thing I didn't say that then. I've played through the singleplayer but obviously am not gullible. People who refuse to play multiplayer simply because it is multiplayer while lapping up terrible SP games are gullible.
Isnt that a tad ironic? Only suckers pay for random loot you can earn by simply playing regularly.
Or people who have more money than time. I wasn't referring to microtransactions anyway, but the fact that MP games dominate the market in terms of overall sales because they're better.

Yes, the SP babbies need lots of crappy enemies that they can actually defeat. The hordes are arguably even larger, they are just composed almost entirely of shitty mooks that the baddies can kill with a mean look even on Insanity. They all craied about the double banshees and a few Marauders rekting their crappy Shepards at the end of ME3 even tho that's like w5 gold to MP gods.
