I used to play only SP with no interest at all in MP, then one day I decided to try it and I was hooked. I have spent waaaaay more time with the MP part of ME3 than the SP part. Looking back at it now I regret that I wasted time at all on SP when I could have spent it on MP instead.

If they just forget about the SP and give it little effort then the MP would not be barren and would be greatly varied.

 

I think the vast majority of MP gamers were more than happy with ME3 MP and it was an excellent starting point for them.  I don't think you could say the same for people who played the SP of ME3.  Especially going by the threads and posts on this forum.  I'm no saying forget the SP or anything like that....I'm just saying focus resources on what is important and what gives the players (as a whole) more enjoyment.

 

Err, okay well no. Bioware's definitely not going to give multiplayer importance over single player and they absolutely should not. For a spin off title they could try a full MP Mass Effect game, but people would feel its only Mass Effect in name.

Well...all I ask is that multiplayer not be a requirement for the campaign...really bugged the crap out of me that I had to get my readiness up to get the "best possible ending."...If that can be done then I along with other I suppose will be happy campers.

Not even remotely interested in MP. I play MMOs for that. I play Bioware games for their stories.

also, I agree OP. I hate that stupid menu option in ME3 right above the real gamemode that takes me to the weird mode where I talk to people for days on end instead of just shooting them in the face to win. I just want to kill alien zombies and pwn n00bs, and the singleplayer mode gets in the way of that because it grossly clutters the main menu.

They should remove it, better to put the monies into the superior gamemode with the superior players.

I liked the ME3 MP a lot, though I haven't played it in more than a year. I still think it's all emphatically unnecessary. Would have been nicer in retrospect if they stuck all those fun, awesome abilities into the SP game.
