The only skill I would even consider is using attributed tactics towards a targeted NPC. Like power combos on groups of enemies and certain weapon/ammo types on an NPC that has a certain layer of protection which can be stripped with those said types. I mean even considering those being "skills" is subjective since it's kind of a common tactic in the game.

 

Other than that it's really just a yawning enemy sponge fest...not much else to it.

If it has such a small skill gap between good and bad players, than why can none of you provide me with a Plat solo or beat me in a 1v1? Should only take a mere 15-20 mins of your life if you're half decent.

This is a bit like claiming football is easy, then Ronaldo challenges you to prove it and you suddenly have all the excuses. I can see that ME3 icon under your profile, plebs. Nut up and git gud, or shut up and forever accept your inferior status as a scrub.

I'm not name dropping, I've played all the games I mentioned with League being my main - Silver division on EU severs, going for Gold. Not exactly Challenger tier, but you wont hear me bragging about co-op vs AI games like ME3MP any time soon.

CS:GO -  I will shoot you from 2 feet away, in the back, with 15 rounds from an AK-47, and you will get up like..."What?"  CORNY

 

DOTA and League of Legends - wouldn't know.

 

Starcraft - This is a beast game.  and also a wet dream for someone with ADD.

 

Starcraft also has one of the greatest gamers to ever play any video game ever.  He don't give a ****!  He will be playing in tournaments and he will be READY to WIN.  I mean tournaments where the winner gets hundreds of thousands of dollars and he will leave the game!  He gives no fucks.

Well, football doesn't have as much loopholes as ME3MP does. Considering everything that counters to your survivability is encompassed by what weapons you have and how much cover you take.

As for people vs AI, most people really aren't all that unpredictable in games, the difference only really comes into play when you start facing people who will actively play mindgames with you.

I call it clever use of game mechanics. Everyone has access to the same cover spots so how is that a performance differentiator? We can use the same weapon, kit, build, whatever and I'll still dominate.

It gets old at times.  There is no middle ground on this board.  You're either militant or troll and that's your 2 choices.  Without it we would be missing a lot of pure comedy gold. Double edged sword.  I do find it strange that this board is like that.

What I find comical is these MP zealots seem to think a cooperative MP where you are fighting NPCs requires skill.

 

This isn't competitive multiplayer. You aren't going against players who are pushing you to your limits. You are fighting brain-dead bots who use the same predictable tactics over and over from one wave to the next. ME3 MP is no harder than ME3 SP. On the contrary, MP is probably even easier because there is even less variety in combat.

 

But I guess if you want to preach about killing bots in a mediocre multiplayer, more power to you?

 

 

Yah, but they're not pillar humping either.  So, there's that.  It's the same skills, just different uses.
