I wouldn't let this thread fool anyone. In my experience the vast majority of the ME MP community was great. Some people here are fooling around, and I admit to finding some of it pretty funny, but I am worried that people who are hesitant to give MP a shot are being further put off by some of the comments.

To be honest, people aren't going to win any favours with an elitist "no MP for ME:A" or a "MP is not important" attitude, especially when they start to look down on said MP gamers. I say good riddance...

Good point. Do you think EA care? If this game was just another cash grab, I for one won't be playing it. But I know a lot of people who probably will. One can only hope that Bioware maintain creative control of SP AND MP, so that it's not just another game made for quick profit off of a loyal fanbase. But that's an optimistic view at best. This new Mass Effect reeks of Gears Judgement... But I hope I'm wrong...

The first thing I typically did over Xbox live was mute everyone. It was never a bad decision.
Otherwise, the best thing about playing the MP was using all the fun abilities that they cut out of the SP. That was criminal.

What more is there to do than that in SP aside from just talking to stuff? Unlike shooting and punching things to death, I can do that IRL without getting arrested (well maybe not some of the romance dialouge). How mundane. I can talk to people in MP as well, BTW.
The shooting and punching is superior in MP, therefore the game is superior, as are the players that inhabit it.

There aren't meaningful decisions to be made by picking a color, either. That is a lot of tactical decisions being made on the fly. Every game and team is different.
