Lol . U have to agree, tho, that all those Viennas in that avatar distracts a bit, from taking it all seriously.
Then if it's hard to take it seriously... why take it over seriously and give me him a perma over that?

This thread is a treasure, and like any treasure it should be preserved and put on display, for future trolls to learn from.
But that would mean it coming to an end, which would also make me sad ![]()
I dunno Pearl, most readers here have difficulty to spot aliases.
I'm guilty of this. There is one blatantly obvious one that I just didn't think was the same and I've only known for a week or so. I do fail to pay much attention.
I think I'm pretty sneaky though ![]()
So you ask on what's the meaning of all this...writes stuff. Hurt stuff. Hate stuff.

A game with that kind of gameplay but with less subtle storytelling and characters would be amazing, never really enjoyed the "connect the dots" style of DS1 even if I understand why folks appreciate it.

I love the game. I hated when it started substituting in bs for "difficutly" Like the jump in Anor Londo or the invisible bridge in Sseath's (don't know spelling) Castle. And the laggy pvp where the guy is maybe at your shoulder, but backstabs you anyways.
I will always prefer Demon's Souls. I feel they went downhill after that.
I haven't played Bloodborne, but it does look like its a homerun.

Oh, yes OP, no need to worry about that.
Recent EA's Financial conference revealed that EA made over 1.3b dollars on "extra content". I expect there is a team somewhere in Bio Central that is working feverishly to make micro$transactions a way of life, or it's endless grinding for you getting nowhere real fast.
RIFT is the only MMO game I play. It's free but unless you pay the moneeeiii, it's endless grinding to upgrade your gear. I fear that the ME3MP coop mechanics will be compromised in some way. EA is not about to give up on such a cash cow.
It would be unsurprising if ME3MP servers go offline, once AndromeMP becomes active. The interesting question is in what form will AndromedaMP unfold? Do you need to buy a level IV, V or VI shield boost/ammo to play the Gold, Platinum levels?
Perhaps the new mechanic is in the form of an Origins subscription fee.
I haven't played ME3 MP for a really REALLY long time. I think it was okay and fun but it wasn't something I felt like doing repeatedly. But that was then, I don't know how I'd think about it if I'd play it now. I'm generally not much into multiplayer. Shame perhaps...
I'll never forget the time one of my friends got permabanned from this place for posting the Navy Seal copypasta.
The person he was targeting? Himself. He quoted a post he had made a year prior, and posted the copypasta verbatim. He was axed for "threatening another user with bodily harm" or something along those lines.
I would like this, but one of the threads in the general Lore Discussion section cleaned me out.
Have a quote instead.

Got a warning post for quoting Mike Laidlaw that contained an "expletive deleted" which I repeated in the quote. I guess the Mod went over to Mike and wagged a finger at him. At least I hope so.
Edited for grammar and correction.

At least you can see from reading your post you know that you should feel somewhat ashamed. It's a start. ![]()

Hahahaha, you think I should start playing MP again? ![]()

I definitely do. And join us in the MP section as well. A lot less serious there and great sense of humor (or "humour" as CrimsonN7 would say) among people.
It might not be the best of times if you're lacking characters and good weapons and try to solo platinum or something, but people always looking for groups and helping out. I think when ME:A comes out if the MP is remotely as good as ME3's is then you should fully convert!

Alright, I'll definitely consider doing that. Both of those things xD

Hmm, I'd recommend you Dark Souls II then. Gameplay was improved in some ways and is the weakest in terms of stories/characters no matter what the Emerald Herald tries to tell you. With connecting the dots, eh, that's always been a necessity of FromSofts way of storytelling.

Yeah, the PvP is very bad in many ways because like ME3MP it isn't on servers of any kind. As for the level design? Only those scumbag Silver Knights on Anor Londo were stupid and as well as the invisibility in the Crystal Caves. I would have to say Blighttown was as well with the 5fps and horrid poison/toxic monster fest. Everything else like the Tomb of The Giants and Oolacile was amazing though and wasn't overall nonsensical bullsheet.
Demon's Souls? yeah, I love it. But I play souls for the story and the gameplay and occasional PvP so I can't say they went downhill in terms of that. They went downhill with Dark Souls II because it felt rushed and because many of the good developers were working on Bloodborne at the time.
Bloodborne was indeed a home run, and I think the Old Hunters DLC that was released for it may just be the best piece of DLC that FromSoft has released. Better than any of the Crowns from DS2, and at least on par with AotA.
Dark Souls 3 is going to give it a run for it's money, though. It looks like they took the best of each Souls game (including Demon's and Bloodborne), and put it in a blender. Plus I think Tanimura and Miyazaki are co-directing, and based on what we know about DS2's dev cycle, Tanimura basically salvaged the main game and then immediately went to work on the Crowns.
Could you explain a bit? Mostly how Demon's Souls is included in DS3? I try not to spoil myself at all when it comes to games I want to buy so I haven't seen much but some trailers. I know they're back on board with adding DS1's backstab/parry mechanics along with some new combat system and it's running on Bloodborne's engine. Also that Miyazaki is finally back. As for Tanimura, didn't he basically make the DLC's you know, better than the main game?
Literally all I know. As for Bloodborne's DLC, better than Artorias of The Abyss? Impossibru.
