My 2nd time through the game i decided to play a female and work the romance from the sexier side of the game (plus i got tired of watching a guy's arse for over 160 hours)

 

I first started to romance Blackwall, but then the traitor did his stuff so I left him in jail to rot. Then i moved on to Josephine but bored with that so I told Leliana I wasn't interested.  Now i can't get anyone into a romance discussion.  Sera just wants to go sit on the roof and talk about cookies, i don't get the romance options in that discussion.

 

I'd rather not go back 30 some odd hours to rescue Blackwall and dump him in the trial like shown in the romance breakup video.

 

How do I get passed the cookie talk on the roof with Sera?

You might have luck with Cullen. I believe he is someone you can initiate with until late in the game. It may otherwise be too late for any others (or some other qualification isn't there).

Sera's not a quick romance to get OP. You have to have been taking the heart dialogue option for awhile before the rooftop cookie scene, she wants to get to know you before she commits to anything. It's one of the things that's great about her. So if you want your Inquisitor to be with her then I'd recommend restarting your playthrough.

I am pretty sure Blackwall's romance gets locked in eary. I think it happens with the flirt on the battlements in Skyhold and it does get rid of key flirt options with other LIs. So if you like to flirt with everyone, that is definitely one flirt to avoid.

Sorry,  I think Blackwall's romance locks in after the tavern conversation, so if you leave him in jail, you're still technically in a romance.  I might be wrong, but I think that's how it works.

Maybe you can get him out of jail now and then dump him during judgment.

I think this may be fixed now. My most recent play through I was romancing Blackwall so I did the ramparts flirt with him but was still able to flirt with others. I was able to get to the point where I could start a relationship with Cullen.

I've been flirting with Blackwall & Sera during this playthrough . If you try to get a bit more serious with her she says you are in too deep with Blackwall & need to call it off before she will show any more interest. This is after the battlements scene.

i dont have any option to get blackwell out of jail after leaving him to rot, the only option is to clean up his mess or whatever that's called on the war map.  I can't get Josephine to talk to me other than status report after telling Leliana there's nothing going on.  I have the last 2 storyline missions left in this playthrough now, i guess i'll just go finish it again and try the Sera romance from the start.  Good thing i'm on vacation for a week
