Is it possible Bioware thinks if no one is complaining about not being able to use the right mouse button to move, they are going to act like there was never a problem?

If anyone cares, I still find it quite disturbing I can not setup my key bindings however I would like.

I'll agree that all the keys and buttons should be fully rebindable. And even controls that are bound to the same key hy default should be able to be uncoupled (I don't like context-sensitive controls).

I just want an auto-run feature of some sort. Hate holding down W all the time.

They have added a new keybind option (like auto-attack) with most of the major patch releases. Most of the new ones are unbound by default. If you have a fully patched game and haven't looked at them in a while, be sure to look at the keybind list to see if there are any new ones you need to set up.

I find it amusing that you assume no one has complained about not being able to use the right mouse button to move.

G is the default auto-run key.

When was this feature introduced?! It only took me 200+ hours to discover, hahah hah. I switch between this game and Fallout and I find the key bindings on FO to be more convenient. DA:I I've found has a few redundant ones. Like was it so necessary to have keys that did the same thing as the mouse and then not have a click to move on RMB?

This is my point, I dont think Bioware is every going to fix it, because they don't care. They designed the game for Consoles and just through a basic keyboard/mouse configuration into the PC version. It should not be that hard to unlock the controls, not everyone likes WASD. They could come out and say it will never happen and also should of informed people controls are resisted to the way THEIR develops play games. Can they keep everyone happy NO but I can always make the game work if the controls were unlocked.

Also I know people have complained about using the Right Mouse Button to move but it should not take 6 months to patch this problem.

Auto-run has been in the game since release.

Click-to-move isn't supported because the walk mesh is dumb (there are a lot of places you can't get to because the walk mesh can't handle height transitions). You'd be in a place that you jumped to or want to get to a place you need to jump to reach, but clicking to move would do nothing (since the game has no pathfinding data for where you are or want to go).

It is supported in tactical view, but it has the limitations described above and can behave strangely. Maybe they'll support it in exploration view in the next game, but it seems unlikely they'll try to add it to Inquisition at this point.

Can you click to move if you switch to tactical cam outside combat?  AI pathfinding isn't the best, but if the keyboard setup isn't working for you, that might help.
