1. Hawke - Well-Developed Character, fun combat, and interesting relationships. Probably the best developed protagonist in the series so far.
2. Warden - (Dwarf Noble & City Elf) Great origins with interesting twist, fun companions and story, Sacred Ashes quest, one of the best, plus Awakenings with Nathaniel Howe.
3. Inquisitor - Most Powerful by far both personally and politically, combat okay, companions okay, Here lies the Abyss, great fight, interesting journey.
People get down on DAII, but that game grew on me even as the reused maps and the "torn trousers" regularly got my goat. With the addition of the DLCs, it became a much better game and I have replayed it often. Love the "push the button and something awesome" combat in the game (even though it's often made fun of by many). I like real time combat myself and DAII had the best real time combat.

The Warden/HoF is a normal human/elf/dwarf instead of a Mary Sue chosen one for the most part, which is a huge bonus. He/she is also mortal and CAN die. I much prefer flawed/imperfect characters over demigods and special snowflakes.
Hawke had the most emotional investment considering his/her entire story revolves around a more personal narrative. Plus Sarcastic Hawke wins in terms of personality and, here it comes, I honestly liked DA2 the best of the three in terms of overall feeling, flaws and all.
The Inquisitor/HoA was too much of a special snowflake. I did appreciate the lack of an overly pretedermined background and his/her adventure was enjoyable, but personality wise the Inquisitor is my least favorite. Plus I dislike the whole chosen one/special snowflake arc. The Warden can be a downright villain, neutral, or what you make of him/her. Hawkes personalities felt involved. The Inquisitor felt like ME3 Shepard; Paragon and Paragon with a little attitude on the side.
So it's Warden (simply due to the fact you implement the persona for yourself) -> then Hawke -> then Quizzy.

They are all different and I like them for their uniqueness. There is no comparison to me.
I liked the Warden for their versatility. Hawke for their personality and the Inquisitor for having a mix of both the Warden and Hawke, yet maintaining their own charm.

1. I enjoy the personal story and personality of Hawke, but I like role playing better with Cadash. I like some of Cadash's humor options, though.
2. Cadash.
3. Cadash.

Took me a while to realize you are related to Shale if you play a Cadash. Bonus points!

I asked this question when DA:I first came out
now it's been sometime and I know not all accept the name-- "The Herald of Andraste." lol
Which one out of these 3 heroes do you enjoy more?
which one do you believe is more powerful? in Solo combat and Party combat.
If these three beasts fought against one another who do you believe will come out on top?
In a 3 man fight! (or 2 woman and man fight....or 2 man and woman fight or 3 woman fight.)
1. The Warden is my favourite, followed by Hawke.
2. Because of the mark, the Inquisitor would literally annihilate/vapourize Hawke and the Warden, probably at once. Without it, I feel like both would beat the Inquisitor fairly easily. I never got the impression the Inquisitor was a great fighter, or at least anywhere near the demi-god-like Warden or Hawke.
3. Same answer for party combat.

To be fair, silent characters can show a lot of emotion/personality. People will have their own opinions of the Warden, but I'm just saying that being silent doesn't inherently = no personality.

Like?
Its incredibly sensitive to magic, if its targeted directly it can literally floor the Inquisitor.
It also requires line of sight to use.

Well to be honest people act like the mark made inquisitor a god and yet it has to be proven useful in combat. If i recall it was used only twice in combat once to open rift and distract florianne soldiers what lead inquisitor being forced to fight demons.Second time was used as finisher move after corypheus was defeated so no much use in combat otherwise pretty much could have been done before. .

1.) Though my Warden is the most impressive hero I've created, I enjoy the character and story of Hawke the most.
2.) My Warden is pretty overpowered: 4 specializations and various lore-based powers.
3.) I do not see any of my Inquisitors as very powerful. I think they would die first. It would come down to Hawke vs. Warden, and again, my Warden is OP.
So: Warden beats Hawke, Hawke beats Inquisitor, Inquisitor beats... no one. It's like rock-paper-scissors without paper inexplicably beating rock.

Only if the attacking mage knows exactly how to manipulate it, and even then, the Inquisitor turned the tables and floored Erimond after only being exposed to that tactic twice. In addition, with Corypheus gone, I'd imagine Solas may effectively be the only person why knows how to manipulate the mark.
Most abilities require line of sight. I wouldn't say that's a dramatic disadvantage, especially considering many enemies rely on melee combat.

It is rather simple,
1. Warden, hands down.
2. Hawke, poor fellow. At least he has Merrill.
3. Inquisitor, who the heck am I?

Oooh! I like this but which is which ?
The Inquisitor - Thor: Both frequently travel between realms and encounter Gods.
Hawke - Iron Man: Both are sarcastic, billionnaire, playboy, philanthropists.
The Warden - Captain America: Both got their powers from a special concoction.

In a fight I think that The Hero of Ferelden would win against both of them. Not only does the Warden have years of combat experience on The Champion and The Herald, The Warden's skills, as an active Grey Warden, are kept razor sharp. The Wardens adventure was one of constant combat and life on the edge of a blade. The Champion, while skilled, spent most of his/her time at home with friends, broken by times of crises in which she/he rose to the ocastion.
The Champion is legend because of his/her role in specific events, seperated by long gaps of peace in contrast to The Wardens long drawn out battle against Logain and The Archdemon and the subsequent lifelong battle against Darkspawn. The Herald, while also skilled and unique due to the Anchor, is behind both The Warden and Champion in experience. Like The Warden, The Herald is engaged in a drawn out battle against his/her enemy but like Hawke has a castle to call home and an army of loyal followers to rely on.
As Warden Comander of Ferelden, the Warden now also has a castle and followers but unlike The Herald his/her enemy isn't going to be finished in one climatic battle. And the Warden will be expected to be on the front lines until the calling takes him/her(unless you headcanon in any romance or vauge leaving Amaranthine epilogue) while the Inquisition and the Herald's role was not completely based on combat and fighting wars and indeed their war with Corypheus is over.

1. Warden. Origins is the DA game i replayed most, is the character i liked more.
2. In solo combat I'm between Hawke and HoF, in party combat the Inquisitor without a doubt since the team members could distract meanwhile s/he open a rift.
3. I'd really like to watch a fan made fight like this, all 3 would be equal.
On second place my favorite would be Sarcastic male mage Hawke.

My Inquisitor, Merathim Lavellan is the one I enjoy playing the most. In solo combat I would have to say that most likely my Warden, Naimeer Tabris is the best. It's hard to say who's better in party combat.
In a three way battle between Hawke, The Warden, and The Herald it would be close. In the end I think the Herald would come out on top, she attacks mainly from a distance being an archer, has the power of the mark, and is good with knives when it comes to close combat being an assassin. Hawke is an assassin rogue as well, but she is only good at up close combat. The Warden being a two handed warrior is at a slight disadvantage between two quick rogues even if she has more combat experience.
