Get rid of DM, you'll be much better that way. Got rid of it and never went back. Best decision I've ever made. Why don't you post your build on Kalence and we'll critique how viable it is.

Imho 6/0/6/6/6 or 6/6/0/6/6 is the way to go. I prefer the Grenade Build, because they safe my life more often then the Missiles.
The stagger effect of the haws is cool, but my Venom Shotgun is better ;-)
edit: never got the idea to spec out DM, ... perhaps I should give it a try.

For me putting the weapon damage at rank 6 is mandatory on the Destroyer, to stack it with DM and make this character one of the top weapon platform in the game.
If I had to use all use his powers, I would skip fitness and use cyclonics.

That's what I was thinking but it may be a dumb idea. I only recently discovered me3 multiplayer so I'm still pretty new and my weapon choices are limited. I never thought of dropping DM. That seems like it would lose a lot of power.

You either spec his nades or the missiles out 100%, never skip DM, that is a really bad idea.
If you run with ramp up weapons like the PPR - then the missiles are best, if you run with with non-ramp up guns then the nades are great.
I only play him on platinum with the Typhoon and the nades.

No, it wouldn't. Skip missiles if you want to go for an optimal build, otherwise skip fitness if you really feel like using all of his powers. Given that you need to use an adrenaline module, you'll be squishy as **** though, be warned.

Might as well throw a PPR or Lancer on there for bosses. It's not like the weight matters.

Just go the whole way and spec him 00066, this game is only about weapons after all.
Nah, it's also about grenades.

Don't make me recommend the 00006 build....

I bounce between 66644, 66066. or 606666. Depending on mood (ie. do I want to cheese it with nades and always having to worry about them or no).
And I'm still waiting for this my last character kit to show up on my PS3 account. Have to play as Geth for some Destroyer like action instead for now.
... When folks see me playing Harrier GI, I can feel their dirty burning judging eying looks burn right through the TV screen right at me.

I put an Arc Pistol to chew off Armor. Not really an AR person.

For some reason this build feels like it defeats the purpose of the Destroyer since I just can't get into the Venom Shotgun (though it does seem legit enough if you do use the Venom with this build to your credit).
But my main squeeze about enjoying the Destroyer as one of my most fave weapon platforms is the the naturally highest fire rate without it being tied to a cooldown power a la Marksman. And the way this fire rate makes some weapons feel a la Harrier (which used be used with some stability help if you want more headshots, hence why the no grenade built is still a viable option to make room for barrage gear).

Weapons Build. Typhoon with AP is also good.

Weapons Again. But somewhat hybrid. Generally I toggle DM a lot for free reloads. It's not GI damage but you're getting somewhat close and you have spawn bombing power modded nades. Also can run the executioner if you change DM to get another round for it as well.

Power Focused. I like this one a lot because it's so ****** out of the box and scares the **** out of most people. Most aren't used to seeing a destroyer be the fastest character on the field.

Melee Focused. A little sprinkling of Multifrags with cryo Venom and then the stomp of righteousness. Not the most effective build but definitely a way to scare the hell out of your lobby. He actually does pretty well if you're decent at surviving.

You need to either pick Missile Launcher or Grenades, the community is split 50/50 on which one is better.

Skipping fitness for Cyclonic Mods is a bad idea because it means no Adrenalin Mods. Which means weak sauce epeen.

I skip the last rank in fitness and only put 3 ranks in nades. That's good enough as an "Oh Sh1t!" button...

I usually just ditch grenades and go 0666. Slap a huge magazine gun on there, then its just bullet and missile spam galore.
Grenades are nice and all but not enough ammo for me to justify taking it when I could maximize bullets and missiles instead. Especially since with DM, I'm too slow to be running around for ammo boxes.

I go 6/6/3/6/5.
Grenades don't need to be max power to be effective at staggering rooms of mooks. My guns handle the big things. Missiles are neat since they still fire while you're letting a heat based gun cool down (Not a full overheat, though) and also stagger mooks for easy pickings. Rank 5 fitness to get Shield Recharge Delay improvements,

This character has a lot of build options that are viable. DM or not, he is a beast. If you use DM, Adrenaline Mod is recommended. I like speccing without Hawk Missiles, but they are fun.

Devastator mode is the best power on this character. And you can't make a power build without a character's best power.
After that it drops off fairly dramatically, but MF'nGrenades are the second best.
0 DM is pure hipster. You can get away with 0 fitness with high level Cyclonic but 0 Missile is better except potentially on very grenade unfriendly maps, and too many grenade fiends in the squad where a missile build is ok.

I tend to take the view that he's the only character that has DM and HML, so why skip one? And as others have said, a couple grenades at rank 3 act as an effective omfgshitwhathehell button.
