Sorry to put a duplicate post up here, but I figured this might actually get more traction on the Origins forum.
So, yesterday Microsoft announced that they were going to start making Xbox 360 titles backwards compatible with Xbox One. Both digitally purchased games and games bought as retail discs.
This will include saved games (if you had cloud saves enabled this will in theory be done automatically), achievements and multiplayer support (so ME3 multiplayer will plausibly live on).
They demoed this by showing Mass Effect 1 being played on an Xbox One, with screenshot features and video possible.
The downside is while 100 games is the target for the end of the year (and more to follow) only 21 games are currently working in the preview program at this point. And more importantly while Mass Effect 1 is in that set Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2 are not currently on the list.
This can, however, change.
Xbox Feedback is currently taking votes for what games people want to be made backward compatible first. Mass Effect 2 and 3 are on the front page of that vote. DAO and DA2, on the other hand, are a few pages back.
As a community I think we should aim to change this.
I’ve voted for both (obviously) but as far as I can tell all you need in order to vote is a Microsoft Account. So even if you jacked in your 360 for a PS4 you can still vote for this. Just sign in and give it a go.

Let’s see if we can’t get both fully last-gen the Dragon Age games back on the front page. It would be great to have all 3 available on the same console, and more importantly not have to pay again for getting them there.
