What's a 'realisitc' body look like? I'm not trying to be a smart arse here but think about it? People have all sorts of body shapes. Perhaps having body sculpting as part of any character customisation would allow personal taste to extend beyond facial features.

I always thought Shepard's strength (of both genders) was justified by the massive amount of synthetic additions Cerberus had to make in order to re-animate them. If you pay attention to the upgrade path in ME2, you see that Shepard has a significantly (synthetically) enhanced musculature and bone structure. Relative strength increased without overall size increase. Basically they did more with less, due to implants.

Yep. Bioware may be generally agreed to be an organic, but transhuman technologies were used in reconstruction, to the point of biosynthetic bones and musculature. We're a fake real human. The fake part means superpowers (kinda).

I hope we can customize the protagonist's body as well as face. Bioware did say they were looking into it after seeing the Black Desert CC.

I once met a girl serving in the U.S. military, she looked like default female Shepard. Except her hair was black.
