Was that N7 operative holding a M-6 in the trailer?

Using a carnifex long after the original trilogy.

Like entering in action nowadays with a mauser rifle

It looked like it - it could indicate that Andromeda takes place not long after the trilogy, that it's a placeholder and we're getting more futuristic weaponry, or the galaxy's weapon designers are lazy.

I wouldn't be too much of a stickler for detail this early. We'll see what happens. The length of time a weapon can be used in combat might be longer in the future, or it could be a weapon based on an earlier model.

I have seen the N7 logo, a M-6, a tank with the Systems Alliance colors, and someone listening to a song from Earth...

Are we certain the Milky Way has been completely forgotten?

Wondering the same thing

But its probably like the M1911.

Though the gun was invented in 1911 it still used today.

It's going to be just like Star Wars, where the tech is exactly the same even if you go 4000 years into the past, future or whatever. We've already seen this with the soldiers in the ME3 Citadel archives scenes from thousands of years ago holding Carnifexes and Vindicators. There's also the same problem with the geth consensus with the M-98 Widow specifically being referenced, though that one is possibly perception (and was only 300 years difference anyway).
