Honestly, considering the accuracy in general of tool tips in Inquisition, I'd even go so far as to say that the dagger may have even said it. Still doesn't make it true lol.

That sounds like a friend that, as Drasca would say, "doesn't math".

Damage number's are affected by more than just the dagger. Please see the first video listed in this post for a full breakdown of attributes and damage if you wish to know more.

 

We do not play the pc only PS3 , I played long enough and my bud we know how damage works in the game but thanks for the tip.

Exactly. The people here on BSN are, on average, fairly experienced with the game and know when someone is either mistaken or just plain full of it.

Um.... 500dps would put it inline with the Hakkon gear... but hidden blades? Le no.

I'm sitting here looking at it right now as I type this.  It is shaped like a triangle like the gift of the talon, but as someone who has played from release day I can say that I don't think I've saw this weapon skin before. 

 

Does the gift of the talon have a triangle section cut out of the dagger right above the hilt?

 

It looks a lot like the gift of the talon...it really does.

 

He says hes going on take a pic with his phone.  We are playing on the console  we are in no beta or anything like that.  It was just in a large chest he says.  Barak should be able to post a pic after the game and the guy takes the pic.
