True.  And they should also bring back the War Room with the Readiness feature.   That was an awesome part of the game.

Do you mean mandatory in the sense that it has to be included? Because obviously that's going to happen here. Or do you mean mandatory in that everyone has to play it?

Mandatory to play it in order to get the best ending, or for BioWare to include it in the game? You might want to clear that up, before you get raided by SP ultras.

I hope they include preorder exclusive weapons/characters and free XP or promotions with purchases of Mountain Dew and Doritos. I need to look better than the scrubs that I actually am better than IRL.

Force people to play the multiplayer just to get the best ending(s) of ME Andromeda. Brilliant idea!

I really hope not, that would be a dealbreaker for me. No interest in Mp, so if i was only allowed to reach certain single player features by playing it i'd take my money elsewhere. Something in parrallel i'd have less issue with, my only real concern is that the trend of ignoring decent side/secondary story content with choices might be linked to the emergence of MP.

Fact is multiplayer was the better investment in ME3 as far as what was invested to what was gained. MP makes ME a more appealing product to a more diverse array of players, MP also offers a game more longevity than SP. Cooperative play outlasts single player campaign. The truth might be unfortunate for some but that's where we are currently.

 

I see no reason SP and MP cannot both be fantastic though.

Make some missions only available in an online/MP setting. The sheer amount of dread would probably be enough to create an online singularity in the forums.

We all knew it's have MP, no EA game comes without MP these days.   The MP in ME3 did extend the gameplay much longer than just having SP only. Probably what the leaked survey said, MP will be there and give in-game credit and stuff.

Personally i don't need multiplayer, but seems it was great in ME3. So if it doesn't interfere with the development of the campaign, then bring it on.

So maybe it would be better to just create MMORPG in ME universe for all of You.I don't want to be forced to take part in MP if Im buying single player game. If MP will be forced on me to get something in SP game, then BioWare can say good bye to my cash

this is a fantastic idea. Biower could collect the tears and fashion more MP content out of them.

Where exactly was it set in stone that these were all going to be SP games? It wasn't. Ever.

 

Even before ME3 was released they let the players have a go at the demo version of the MP and yet, here you are. You could have bailed way back then and forgot about the whole franchise. Easier to just puff your online chest though innit?

The time I least want to play ME multiplayer is when I'm playing ME single player. Leave the modes separate please
