I remember trying to play it about 2 years ago i think maybe more, i can't recall but because I was using windows 8 at the time, I was having all kinds of problems interacting with items in the game. it basically unplayable, as things wouldn't load, or wouldn't allow me to interact i think, wanted to know if anyone using windows 8 or high since then has had no issues with the game.

Also I thought it was free to play? Why is EA saling access for 30 bucks?

of course my interest is sparked because of the new expansion slated to be released later this year.

I've never had a problem with TOR on Windows 8, tbh.

The game works fine. A few of the flashpoints are bugged up the ass and the loading screens still have that bug from the frigin beta but it works. Oh and the optimisation has went to **** my PC can barely run the thing on low and it's pretty powerful.

My laptop has Windows 8.1 and I can run it fine. Anyway, it's free so you can check for yourself.

I don't know about the $30. I think that is an option for 60 days subscription. I pay $15 for the monthly subscription.
