The reason DA2's complaints weren't thrust on Inquisition is because Inquisition didn't have those issues. You know, like enemies dropping from the sky, playersexual romances, a small game world, repetition of caves, etc etc. The complaints against DA2 were not "impotent nerd rage"
they were legitimate complaints that Bioware recognized and then went into rectifying.
Hopefully Andromeda doesn't make any of the mistakes that were made with DA2.
Oh noes, all the dungeons look the same... yeah, that was such a huge issue. Cause that never ever happened in any other game *cough* Mass Effect *cough*. I could probably list 30+ other games that did the same and no one complained about it. Spoiled gamers these days...
Enemies spawning suddendly close by? Duh, DA:I has those, too. And they don't even have a dramatic entry animation.
Small game world? BS. As if DA:O was so much bigger. Hey, the Frostbite Mountains were a small map featuring half a dozen NPCs lingering in front of the gates to Orzammar. Denerim was a market place, three back alleys and a brothel. Kirkwall was about the same size and it changed between day/night and for the invasion. Also, bigger is not better. DA:I has large maps (still no open world) but they are mostly empty and largely inconsequential. Baldur's Gate had tons of different areas but the majority of them were just wildernis with a few mobs. etc etc.
Playersexual was not a problem until people made it one. Seriously, the basic idea was sound. Sure, it's not ideal from the writer's perspective because part of every LI is always fluid/vague but it's still more likely than all of them being bi. Although it is possible. DA:I instead features a potential harem. Sooooo much better. And people still complained. A lot.
Seriously... many games would be rated a lot better if people played them before they read any forums. Yes, some may not be perfect, some may have been released in a rush, some may miss features... but if the gamers enjoy the experience and replay the game over and over again... then maybe the issues voiced by a vocal minority aren't that severe.
