the only thing that pissed me off about Ash , is that she was taking her hatred on alien . It was humans who wouldn't let her advance in her career and give her the worst job ever as if she wasnt trust worthy . Yet she remainined blindly a follower of the alliance and use the Aliens as her punching bag . Not once I heard her complain about those who really are the one who are black listing her name....unless I'm missing something here . 

 

Probably at home she had heard forever the "if the aliens didn't attached the colony without basically no reason (since the humans didn't know what they were doing was illegal for the Council, since they didn't even know there was a Council at all) our family would still be respected by the Alliance".

For what I remember about her upbringing, she have grow up in a family that was for generation in the military. Is not unreasonable the "fault" was given to the "enemy" who made possible the umiliation that to the military bullysm, and not to the stupid system.

 

Soldier mentality: the superior is always right, and I only followed the orders. If I follow the orders, and still the superior doesn't trust/respect/is ok with me for something outside my abilities/fidelity, is fault of the "something" (in this case, the alien attach) outside, but never of the superior that is an idiot.

 

This, and the not-so-good treatmant of the humans by the aliens, surely had helped made her preconceptions, that aren't by the way her exclusivity, but common among humans, and surely not rare in the alliance, both from still feeling hurt by the memory of the attach, that from the limitation from the Council (limitate military forces, regulated number of war ships ecc.)

I like Elephants. Not in any sexual Way, mind you. They are intelligent, empathic and majestic. They are also an endangered Species and discussing them seems more productive than what is happening in this Thread. So let's talk abut Elephants.

Elephants are good.

They produce ivory which is what I line my handgun grips with, so no beef with me about elephants.

It's a Tragedy really. See, this is something should get People infuriated, rioting on the Streets and swarming online Forums with. SAVE THE ELEPHANTS! But no, there is constant rambling about Romances instead, where everyone knows fully well that these Discussions lead to a dead End.

 

BioWare, if you donate 10% of your profits on ME:A to saving the Elephants, I will buy Dozens of Copies of that Game, for all my Friends, so a) they play it too and I have spent Money on saving these majestic, peaceful, wonderful Creatures.

I actually understand both.

I actually wrote a thesis on Reproductive Somatic cloning back at university in 98.

It mostly covered using it as a method of restoring dying species to be displayed in captivity.

I used Whales as a example mostly.

Despite the largest creature to date being produced entire via gene splitting being a sheep, the technology existed back then to apply abiet at enormous cost to do larger animals.

Gene sequences care little for cost.
