And that would make sense if it actually addressed an argument that I had made. I love that people keep putting words in my mouth and then criticizing the words that they put in my mouth. Must be something in the water that we don't have where I live.
well if you had actually made an argument in the first place then you would have a point. your op is just a statement on how the Devs need to be liberated from having romance in the game. my point is that romances are optional and thus this entire thread is irreverent as you have not made a counter point to this. I did not put any words in your mouth nor did you actually seem to understand what it is that I am saying. if you do not wish to play a romance story you do not have to. you can in fact play the entire game with out a single romance. you wanting to remove it entirely is unnecessary as you are only looking to take away from something a large part of the fan base really enjoys. this entire topic is nothing but a joke that you are trying to act like a serious question. I will guaranty you right now that this game and any other bioware games to be released in the future will indeed have an optional romance and the reason why is that the optional romance is a corner stone of the bioware company model. this goes back to their some of their earliest games and has remained a consent threw out their entire catalog of games.

Nothing in this has anything to do with the OP. The romances exist and therefore use development resources. People will complain about them as well. These, in addition to just breaking a trend, are what the OP was about. Your above response has nothing to do with any of that.
That said, since people do like them, you're right that they will exist in future games anyway.
