so, how about this: implementing a toggle for this sort of thing would add complexity to the game without any payoff to the vast majority of people, nor would it meaningfully impact equality
the solution to 'I don't want to see that in the game' is to not pick the option: this is the same with romance as it is with other things, like moral choices
just as it'd be really goofy to say 'how dare you implement the ability to be pointlessly evil, you should make a toggle, I don't want to see those pixels'
the toggle is the dialogue, and if you have trouble ignoring an option in the dialogue wheel that you don't want to take but which doesn't actually affect a playthrough when you
don't pick it that's a problem on your end, not the devs'
