Don't Do Romances

I love romances, especially Biowares romances which are pretty great in my opinion.
There are loads of games without romances. Thank goodness Bioware does do romances!
Bioware please always continue to include relationships and romances in your games. ![]()

Romances are whatever to me. I usually do them once just to check em out. Morrigan, Solas, and Dorian are the only ones that I would repeat. Miranda's isn't bad either. I like the mutual break up at the end of Mass Effect 2 if you choose that. But you're still flagged as "romance", and can choose to pick it up in ME3 months later. It flowed very nicely I thought. Although Miranda's character was all over the place in ME3.

That's why Alistair, Morrigan, Isabela, Anders, and Solas have better romances (imo). They are tied to the main plot. Also all the drama. I wouldn't mind more like these, even if it meant less LIs overall

meh wouldn't really bother me if im truthful if they cut them out, but for alot of ppl i believe it is a integral part to why they play BioWare games so for that alone i would say absolutely not as im not one for taking something someone enjoys away just to give me more of what i enjoy.
i would however only have 2 at most romances, an make the story of them alot better than basically anything i have seen in any BioWare game, but this is the BSN an tbh ppl wouldn't like that, not that they like much of anything

I have to say that "Tequila se'lai" is probably one of the best phrases ever (even though tequila is evil).
Anyway, I think romances are fun, but perhaps the game should not have a total love glut with almost 10 squad members you can get with. Fair guess that an asari is a given, and likely 3 humans.

I wouldn't mind it that much, contrary to many people here I don't buy the games for getting a Waifu
I like romances if done well but DA:I was terrible in that regard (they wasted way too many resources on that)

Let's be honest, the man has to be stopped, somehow (although a heart attack might get there first.)

I don't necessarily disagree with OP truth be told....
But if we're getting em - they better do em right and balanced. I don't want another Liara.

After Season 5 of Game of Thrones, I would replace G.R.R. Martin with DnD.

No romance? In a Bioware game? That's just asking for trouble.
Baulder's Gate. Best RPG out there. No romances..just saying.

That would be Baldur's Gate 1 only, though. And I am pretty sure most people (myself included) think Baldur's Gate 2 was superior to it's prequel, and that game did have romances, just to say. Granted, it was possible play such way that you were totally ignorant romances by certain companion choices (or managing get that companion killed/petrified/kicked out temporarily, thus cancelling romance) but romances were there.
Anyway, I am bit mystified by fact people can't just simply ignore romance content...
As far I see it, it's just bonus content, way to flesh out game's story.

Romances add a great deal of immersion. It's one of the reasons I enjoyed the series. It made Shepard more human, someone that not only cares for his or her squad but could care deeply for a certain person in particular. Some of the best scenes are scenes with your romance.
The scene in Shep's cabin before priority Earth for instance, is awesome and endearing. So romance is here to stay as far as I'm concerned.

A lot of the ME romances should never have existed. It was obvious that they spread themselves too thin and should have focused on a handful.
