.....

M.U.L.E. - the first MP game I ever played. Not really - the first was probably some game on the Atari console. The first FUN MP I remember!

Yep, this game was fantastic and we played it a ton back then. Shame on me to forget it in my list . Good memories  :D.

Nobody here played Shining Force 3 Scenarion 1-3 which handled choice affecting the outcome across 3 games way better then whatever the heck BioWare calls this in ME series. I call it the "Here's your choice, now watch it do nothing for the next 2 games." And the stupid critics go "Wow. ME series is so awesome because your decisions affect the outcome."

My top five -

Civilization I to IV

Mass Effect 1 to 3 (right until Marauder Shields) & ME3 MP of course

Wizardry VII

Doom 3

Master of Magic

Much as I love ME3 MP, nothing can beat Civilization I to IV.

Master of Magic !!

How could I forget this

That's an easy one:

1. Mass Effect Trilogy

2. Heroes of Might and Magic 3

3. Civilization 3

4. Medieval Total War 2 with "The Third Age".

5. Mount and Blade Warband "The Last Days"

6. Dragon Age Origins.

Some of these I don't play anymore, because lack of time. But Mass Effect is an addiction that I won't/don't want to get rid of.

My list of greatest gaems of all time

1) ME3
2) ME2
3) ME1
4) ME: Infiltrator
5) ME:A (subject to removal or modification depending on how many quarians there are)

ME3 Is unquestionably the best gaem in the history of the universe because it's the only one where you can play quarians. The rest are listed in order of which video gaems in history had the most quarians in them, which is the primary factor for determining how gud a gaem is for any enlightened individual.

I've played about three games in the past decade so I'm not really one to judge.

My list of favourites goes:

1. Half-Life

2. Mass Effect

3. Fire Emblem

4. Command and Conquer

5. Diablo

In the interest of not having the entire list just be Half-Life and Mass Effect repeated, that's franchise/series rather than individual games. At this point I doubt if anything will ever topple Half-Life at the top of that list.

As much time as I've blown on ME3MP, it doesn't compare to my devotion to NBA Live back on the PS & PS2.

And the most enjoyable 'gaming experience' I've ever had was getting 4 PS controllers going with the boys and playing hours of NHL 97-99.  The PS was known as Gray Satan due to its ability to lure us away from sleep/studying/papers/calling in sick to work.  Sure there were Madden & NBA Live tournaments too, but the wide-open style of NHL (same deal with FIFA) lent itself to more enjoyable team-mate action.  So many sausagefest hours spent playing, watching others play, and relentlessly sh*t-talking.  Can't beat it.

Favorite PC game is DA:O.  I was missing it recently, so I started up a campaign as a casteless female dual weapon rogue dwarf.  I like having 3 NPCs for the wide dialog/banter possibilities, I'm realizing.  Plus the characters are way more interesting than dullards like Vega, Cortez, & Ash anyway.

Side note...DA stuff I'd like to see carried over to ME:A:

  • 3 NPCs
  • Much wider build arrays
  • Ability to control ALL party members (I don't want to direct Liara to keep her alive...I want to BE Liara)
  • TACTICS control...not just AI

Oh shoot, completely forgot about DA. Yeah, that would actually be above Oblivion. Except for DAI. Because it´s dull.

And I LOVED kicking their arses as the Knicks.  I'd simulate a couple weeks worth of games if I saw MJ, et al coming up on the schedule.

Final Fantasy 7 is at the top for me personally. I know Gears of War was no great piece of fiction but it never really tried to be either, it's up there as well. Borderlands 2 is a better game as far as content when compared to Mass Effect as well. I don't really rank them though, I think it's Final Fantasy 7 then a wad of good games after that.

The Last of Us looked to be just a great game but I don't have Playstation so I never got to play it.

Oh yeah, best game I ever played is ME3mp too. Shining Force 3 for Sega Saturn second.

Total hours playtime confirms this too.

But were you able to play the remaining chapters? Or do you read Japanese?

I loved SF1 and 2 on the genesis/megadrive but gave up playing the third entry on saturn after learning that chapters 2 and 3 were not going to be released outside Asia.

For me easily yes but then I've been enjoying a lot of ME and Dragon Age a lot lately and think that Bioware have done a great job with both series.

For me is has the most addicting MP ever. I seriously hope Andromeda is too. I can't wait to see some MP gameplay cuz tbh that's what I'm mostly looking forward to
