What is supposed to be the suggestion of their relationship.

The name "One eye Jimmy"....the fact Woolsley is "very special" and his care of him.  Is there some suggestion there?

Is bestiality legal in Thedas?

Is that over my head or is there supposed to be some meaning to that quest?  Like the one in Red Dead Redemption?

Hmnmn... Have you ever attacked Lord Woolsley? Because that explains what's so 'special' about that damn ram.

Why would you attack him? Oh I don't know, what happened last time there was a talking animal in Dragon Age? Oh, right-

Here's a video of the "ram" getting killed.

I'm surprised that others are surprised. Was I the only one that immediately thought of the Kitty demon from DAO? I would think the alarm bells would be flashing through your head the second you hear about a talking animal in a series where demons are known to shapeshift into animals. I'd think everyone's first instinct wouldn't be to take things at face value, to at least suspect that the animal that apparently knows how to talk and is "special" isn't an animal at all.

Bahahaha. Yeah, that would require me to actually pay attention to what the NPCs were saying in the copious amounts of fetch quests that we got. :P

Maybe npc's wouldn't bore you if you'd let off the skip-dialogue button for a second.

Easy there tiger.  That's why the skip button exists.  Sure many people may find the main quest and characters interesting, but I'm sure many hung their head and tried to power though the glorified errand boy parts.  You can only get so many wedding rings and pick so many flowers and plant so many stakes on the ground before you get burnt out.

That was my reaction with Lord Seeker Lucius too. You mean this guy is acting completely out of character all of a sudden? It's either demons or blood magic. Or both.

Lord Woolsey is likely just as advertised: a possessed ram that has been acting as an advisor to Jimmy's family for generations. It is technically an abomination, but it seems pretty harmless.

Lord Woolsey doesn't necessarily turn into a demon unless you attack him.  He could be a perfectly friendly spirit of Wisdom or the like if just left alone to give advice to his Jimmy.

I think his flame-colored fur kind of gives away what he really is, like Kitty's purple eyes. Lol and after freeing the Mages of that Tevinter nonsense, the last thing I will do is send an abomination back to Redcliffe's people. Poor souls have been through enough since DAO.

Well, in one of my playthroughs, he took on his rage demon form after a bear attacked him just as I was approaching him to complete the quest.  Then he came after me.  I was soooo pissed.

I don't think you need to.  One-eyed Jimmy already knows, but he gives good advice that has brought prosperity.  Anything can turn into a demon if it gets rubbed the wrong way.

I thought more about this and you're right.  All is good.  I still think there is a "double meaning" in this quest though.
