I'm very worried that there won't be. Don't give a hoot about sp, but this would mean no GI in the mp, which in my opinion would be a disaster of biblical proportions and a betrayal of everything that's good in the world and space.

So please Bioware confirm GI appearance Holiday 2016 thx

They're widely popular, more people saved Geth than Quarians in ME3 lol. I say they'll be there.

If they don't use Geth, there will probably be some similar android race. It would be cool if Geth made there way to Andromeda right after the split with the Quarians.

That'd be great if there weren't. No annoying flamer spamming troopers and idiot melee puggernauts cluttering up the box of shame every time you try to find a game.

I'd like it if some geth headed to Andromeda pre-destruction ending. I really hated that destroying the reapers meant destroying them, too.

That said, unless the Geth figured out w/e super fast travel method we have in ME:A in the 800 years btwn the split with the Quarians and the end of the Reaper War, they'd still be in transit to Andromeda for like, another million years or something, right? So we wouldn't see them even if they were on their way.

That's kind of harsh when you think about it. Apparantly people preferred AI's over organics...

I expect that there will be a machine race. And for christs sake, don't turn them into another misunderstood innocent machine race. Just let them be evil and hostile so we can have an enemy.

No it just means that plenty of people fell for the rainbow farting pinnochio sob story that Biower tried to sell the geth as at the last second, because they hadn't played either of the other two games or consumed any other media. Frankly I'm surprised there was only like a 10% difference on the decision when they tried as hard as they could to rewrite pretty much every quarian into a pantomime villian and brush a 99.5% successful genocide and 300 years of indiscriminate, wanton murder of organics that the geth commited under the rug.

The geth were changed in ME2, not ME3.

They still allowed plenty of room for ambiguity and it wasn't nearly as one sided because it didn't attempt to retcon any other lore via a biased, propaganda esque presentation (it simply introduced a new element, the Heretic-Prime geth split), though yes the pinnochio "soul" nonsense was introduced in that game.

Oh I like that reasoning! I saved both, because my Shepard truly was the space messiah.

Although I ended up killing all AI life forms in the end, YORO (You only reboot once).

Speaking as someone who saved both the geth and the quarians in ME3, I hope both show up. In fact, I hope we have one of each on the squad, but I'll be satisfied with multiplayer characters.

you made the correct decision, congratulations. Use the toasters to defeat the more menacing toasters then conviniently off them both in one go and win the game for great justice.

of course not.....it is enhanced by them

A galaxy that I can't save from evil robots on a triple filtered turian brandy induced bender isn't a galaxy worth saving.

I didn't find it one-sided, to be honest. The only thing that could lead to blame the quarian is that They started the attack when they knew the Reapers would come (Which was indeed moronic, but not worse then the Geth volunteering to be the Reapers' slaves).
Anyway, If not for the third choice I'd had a hard time picking one, so If their goal was to lead people to pick the Geth, it didn't work on me.

That's definitely a statement I can get behind.

The one time I played without an established save file, and therefore couldn't save them both, I saved the quarians. That was less based off personal bias and more based off the information my character had to work with, and without the relationship built with Legion, I couldn't justify trusting the geth in that situation.

Still, personally, I had sympathy for both sides.

Destroy was the most popular ending, so I doubt they will return in any meaningful way.

I hope not. They're so depressing.

Oh, I'm sorry, you said "Geth."

It's possible there will be AIs in Andromeda, the teaser showed unknown advanced race.
