Just promoted Sentinal class to glitch Volus Merc (Harrier too heavy at level 1). But halfway thought the match Sinful's borther wanted Canadian Poutine. So had to come up with a good reason to bail. After a lag spike, nobody came to my rescue so I bailed with no one being the wiser. But gave me good topic idea;

Mine are; Korgans, Batarians and Salarians.

Recruit packs and Silver if you don't have a quad.

You must gain a quad. Think of all the credits you're losing. That and tanky kits I listed provide enough quad.

I never said I that's what I did. Plus Batarians and Salarians don't have quads, literally. They're just posers. I don't play classes at low levels anymore. Reminds me too much of a RTS than an RPG. RPG tend to have you gain power over time, whereas RTS's reset you every mission. I only promoted to get my banner and haven't promoted since. While I was grinding my promotions, I played higher level classes and spammed recruit packs to get consumables and character XP cards. By the time my current class was ready to promote, another was high enough level for Gold for me and my skill level at the time.

If you're implying you're good enough to play Gold at level 1, then you shouldn't need a go to class. Yes that comes off much more condescending than I meant it.

^ But there's the all 6 glitch that still requires it.

You make me sad.

^ Some kits glitched give greater build freedom. ie. Voluse Merc I'd be fine with him having no passives and just play him with lighter weapons. But why when I can all 6 for all weapon weight cooldown and open up my choices for more weapon variety?

And I'm a Terminator. Not stupid. I know what's OP and not. And an all 6 Volus Merc is not more OP then say the overused and abused Hurricane GI and the bunch of other crap favoured in this game.

Not using the glitch and only playing Hurricane like most makes you lame.

Every glitched kit gives more freedom. I could glitch my Drell Vanguard into having Pull, along with all his other powers and passives, but that only isn't shady if I straight up don't use one of his other powers the whole game. You can't turn off passives or fitness. I use the PPR on the Merc without any issues, and that gun isn't exactly a piece of paper. He doesn't need the help, none of the kits do.

Only you can't glitch the Drellguard.

And Volus Merc is best played with max cooldown. Which can still be done without glitching him by going no fitness (but have fun wasting all your Cyclonic Mods on him instead of the much more enjoyable Adrenalin Mods), or no passives (narrowing your weapon choices).

Going 4/4 passives fitness is the other route that works on everything, but again takes away from freedom of weapon, mod, and consumable choices. ie. what if you want to use level 1 consumables. Which is another way to gimp yourself instead of not glitching. ie. Sinful on main account never uses AR amps when playing glitched Volus Merc Harrier X on Gold. Thus the glitch helps you save on valuable consumables. Don't believe me? Then check Sinful Force 360 account to see how loaded he is in this consumable area by playing it smart; http://social.biowar...&platform=xbox#   Bet you all wish you had it so well in the consumable department (take notice how his level 1 stuff is what he has least of).

Using Sinful as a reference just earned you as many thumbs down as is legally allowed (yes I know it's you). Also I don't understand the argument of keeping consumables by not using consumables. What's the point in having them if you're not going to use them?

Secondly, Merc has cloak, stagger, and "look over there" powers. You don't need fitness or cyclonics to make him work.

Liked for poutine.

Jokes aside, my classes I typically run to re-level are...

Adept: I don't really have one for the first few levels, Justicar as soon as I can get Bubble and Fitness to Rank 5

Soldier: Krogan
Engineer: Don't have one
Sentinel: Adas Krolord soloing Silver Geth to gain those first few levels.

Infiltrator: Anything
Vanguard: Don't have one

It's called Gold difficulty. You don't need high level conusumables and OP setups for this difficulty.

And Sinful will explain the Volus Merc one day to glitchers and non-glitchers build suggestions.

You also don't need to glitch the Merc for that difficulty either.

No you don't. But it makes things a heck of a lot more enjoyable for Sinful (especially on this certain herb). And he plays for fun.

And almost forgot to answer you something else about why have consumables if you can't use them? Ask that to all the folks on BSN complaining about always getting cryo and explosive ammo and not their fave consumables they are always out of. As is for Sinful, he can binge up to 255 of every good consumable if the need arises instead of complaining of not being able to binge his fave consumables. That's the difference.

And as to why Sinful doesn't use AR amps on Harrier X Merc. Well, that's because it's not needed for Gold and the pugs need some kills too. It's all about balacing things out yourself. Once you can do this, you can throw all 6 glitch kits in too and still make things fair enough and interesting. And besides, Sinful prefers & mostly plays the kits that aren't glitchable anyway.

EDIT - /thread for me too.

The only volus fitness really matters on is melee vanguard anyway, just skip it otherwise.
