I know the evolution says that it only increases the force and damage of biotic combos, but Bioware. Can anyone confirm that it doesn't affect all sorts of combos?

Yeah, 65% damage bonus is a heck of a bonus on BE, and most enemies will dodge shockwave if they aren't close anyway.

I don't know, I tend to go 5b actually. I feel like when I don't, shockwave fails to hit things. Maybe that's just an off host thing, but going 5b for the reach has been more reliable for me

Just looked up to see what the heck 5a evolution even is (nothing else going on here). 40+ dmg & 60+ duration (did anybody even know this? Funny how that is and what it says about this evolution). Can't think of any hipster ideas to do with this outside of a weapon focus build, and even then default duration is already too long as is. So raw deal on this evolution.

I think you took a wrong turn and ended up in the Shockwave thread.  The Warp thread is down the hall and to the right.

 

Shockwave 5a for biotics, 5b for other (BatSent, maybe even Novaguard, to a degree).
