If it is the last DLC...I am fine with that. They can start to work on the next game then.
Indeed, they should not make any DLCs so they can make the next game even faster!

Sounds good to me, I'm always on board for more story DLC.
I'll buy it. I like the sound of "story based" and "expansion".
The "confront the one who started it all" does sound like this is the Wolf Hunt DLC to me.
I expect a couple of more DLCs before this one is released, though. If they survey it now it'll probably be quite some time before it's done.

Faster does not mean quality.
I just hope any new DAI Dlc will have a decent amount of content for all your Companions/LIs one thing I hope gets addressed is the status of The Inquistor & Divine Victoria's"Cassandra" relationship I hated how they left it up in the air.
Hope so too - as much as I'm curious about how much heartache they'll serve to my fem elf, I want something for my other Quizzies too (well... not necessarily heartbreak or even anything romance-related just - you know - content!).

I agree I want the Lavellan/Solas story wrapped up but I don't want the others to be overlooked because of it my Canon Inquisitors romanced Cassandra,Dorian,Josephine & Iron Bull thus I want them to get equal content on par with Solas in the Dlc.
Eh, it's like the Morrigan thing, if you didn't romance her, Witch Hunt didn't have the same feeling of completion. But it was still significant to my Warden anyway. (And romancing Zevran means you have the least call backs across games.) Solas doesn't have quite as much romance content in the main game as others, so if anything, this could even it out more. Solas romancing Inquisitors were left very open-ended.
Still turning the wheels on this new survey info, but one of the things I wonder about on top of the Solas stuff, is how Iron Bull would react to a Qunari invasion. Even if he leaves the Qun, I imagine he's not going to be happy about this. (And who knows what this means for the Qunari, if we learn more about them.) It's something I think about with my Bull romancing Inquisitor in particular.
It's really strange that they leave the fate of the Inquisition/Inquisitor to dlc. It makes me nervous for my PC as well as the companions. I hope the writers aren't too brutal.
I hate to burst your bubbles, buuuuuut..........

This has been re-tweeted and commented on by various devs, including Darrah and Weekes. I'd say we should start preparing for the impact NOW ;P
We'll see. Though hopefully it's just companions. I know who goes on the block...Viv, Blackwall, and Sera might have to go bye bye for me.This has been re-tweeted and commented on by various devs, including Darrah and Weekes. I'd say we should start preparing for the impact NOW ;P

Though I have to ask how they're going to manage that in a dlc size thing.
I suppose we shall see. Might as well be a thing of the future. But considering they've used the word "expansion" in the survey to describe this (more or less hypothetical) product, I'd say we might expect something a tad bigger than, say, JoH.
In any case... uh, I hope that there at least will be a super-hard mode (maybe it's the thing mentioned in that survey?) the completing of which will give us maybe a bittersweet ending where everyone is at least somewhat alive (and not entirely psychologically mangled as well) - I'll have a hard time sacrificing anybody, TBH....

Haven't they said pretty much out of hand we won't see another Awakening size thing?
I hate waiting... And I hate inconclusive tidbits.
I checked the quote and I'd say that the wording on "we'll not be producing anything LIKE Awakening" could be interpreted in more than just one way
In any case, I can't see the reason why even something a tiny bit smaller than Awakening would NOT be called an expansion... when it clearly is one.
And yeah, I hate waiting as well. Some answers, Bioware, pretty plz! D: (and not just for the romance part!). Alas, I'm afraid that with those answers we'll get even more questions....
The mold under the carpet has grown strong from all the leaks that seep onto the internet in this, the modern day.
It is the final boss that we will one day have to face, and find that we cannot pierce its tangled mess most of you love to suckle upon its leafiness.

Is that what the tea leaves and chicken entrails say?
Naw, some guy with a sign sitting on a corner street told me that.
Also he was wearing his tin foil hat as a cup-slash-loincloth. ![]()

Tea leaves always speak the truth! .... In a very roundabout way, but truth nonetheless!

Make sure to tip him. Poor boy can't get a break, and reception from the homeworld isn't what it used to be.
I gave him a tip alright: I told him to adjust his 'antenna' and I got outta dodge.
. . .what was this thread about again? I'm too busy being stupid to remember. ![]()
MEA started work around the time Citadel was being released, so we don't know if they're in a preproduction stage or not.
More importantly more dlc is a good thing, because some of that goes back into project budget which gives us things like patches. Last paid dlc will be about the time Bioware closes support on DAI. I'd rather that not happen for a while.
Faster does not mean quality.
I was joking. I know sarcasm isn't as obvious on the internet, but I hoped the emoticon would give it away.

... About how Bioware and EA are trolling us with surveys and twitter hints about upcoming DLC for DAI ![]()
I don't see reason why both of them should be DIRECTLY involved, yet exist in the same space at the same time. Such things happen.
I also don't see reason to connect Solas to Qunari - as desperate/dedicated he could be, he seems to dislike Qunari too much to even consider working with them, plus personally I think he'd be busier with more important things (from his perspective).
There's one thing I wondered about though... we all assume that he's preparing something catastrophic, and for good reasons, but maybe his motive for sudden disappearance and stealing Mythal's power is to.... save the Inquisitor? (even if they're not befriended or romanced).
Think about it - the orb is gone. The only thing that is left after it is the Anchor. And if this survey says anything that is true, we know that the Anchor suddenly erupts with magic. What if it grows unstable without the orb that bore it? Or what if the content of the orb wishes to reconnect with its previous vessel, but finds only Inquisitor? So maybe Solas disappeared so fast, because he knows that without finding a solution, the one who bears the possible key to deal with problems he faces is eventually going to die - or else?
It's a rather far-fetched assumption, I know - but considering that everything that goes beyond post-credit scene is an assumption, I'd say that it's not one we can rule out as entirely impossible.
I would love if Bioware used tricky writing to have Solas in the same place doing very similar things, not matter what, but based on your relationship to him, had totally different contexts of what he's doing. Saving us, fighting us, etc. Ultimately for his goal to help The People, of course.

Oh I'm kinda hoping it'll happen (whatever goal Solas actually has). Same with other companions - they might refuse to do something (if they're not befriended) or agree to something... Dunno, something that will be the effect of both relationship with a given companion as well as maybe the style we've led the Inquisition.
