Since a lot of people are jumping to conclusions, I just want to reiterate that its unlikely that this is the next DLC.  The fact that they're taking this survey now would seem to indicate that its quite a ways down the line.

There's a good chance, I even find it probable, that we'll be getting 1-2 more DLC between JoH and this last entry for DAI.

I'm so far going with this as most likely.

1. JOH

2. Darkspawn or something else?

3. Darkspawn or something else or this one?

4. Maybe this one?

So if this Survey is Legit I have mixed feelings about it because if its true we will be deciding the fate of The Inquistion which is cool and all but it also means DAI will be done. Now will I pay 15.00 for it that depends really on the quality of the Dlc if this is the Wolf Hunt that Solas Mancers are clamouring for than I say good for them but I just hope it doesnt end up like Witch Hunt was because as much as I loved the Dlc I hated that only my Warden that romanced Morrigan seemed to get actual closure where as my Warden that romanced Leliana just felt disconnected.

I just hope any new DAI Dlc will have a decent amount of content for all your Companions/LIs one thing I hope gets addressed is the status of The Inquistor & Divine Victoria's"Cassandra" relationship I hated how they left it up in the air.

I don't think we need to worry about a Morrigan situation because Solas was not conceived as much to be a romance/bedded character. (Yes I know you can not romance her and not do the Dark Ritual with her but realllyyyy now.)

Solas is just a big part of the plot, period - not just (or as much as DAO's case) a character story. That can mean a conclusion for all Inquisitors.

Well, all female characters will end up doing that. If you mean personally being part of the ritual, anyway.

I think DAO was written more male oriented.

Not a ton, mind you. Especially compared to most of the industry. But still geared towards males. I don't think if the story was female oriented that we'd see something like Morrigan going "Need sex now to make baby to save your life." (when put into basic terms)

I know I'm opening a can of worms with this. For the record, to add, I think DAI was a lot more equal in its writing (to the point of angering hetero male gamers who have LESS romance options as a male protag than a female one).

My issue is that if this Dlc is real it will be focused mostly on Solas/Lavellan content wise especially if Solas is the "The One that started it all" mentioned now thats great for Solasmancers sure but a Cadash/Josephine or Adaar/Cassandra pairing will get hardly anything Josie especially but you see my issue I want equal Content all around.

Just dropping in to rain on everyone's parade and point out that that screen shot looks suspiciously like Google Forms. And I don't think BW has used Google Forms in the past when they've made other similar surveys. Something like this is incredibly easy to fake with GF.

Sorry.

On the other hand if this dlc or another dlc involves the Deep Road or that Qunari army chances are you will probably have extra juicy dialogues as Adaar/Cadash.

But yeah, I guess each gender/race should have a equal amount of unique dialogues.

Inquisition needs Isabelas magic touch, fighting Qunari sounds good though.
Hopefully it wont turn into another Exalted March DLC.

True, which is why I went searching for the survey for DAI that leaked a few years back... and it also looks like Google Forms.

Spoiler

That doesn't exclude the possibility that someone's made an elaborate prank - which I really wouldn't be surprised by - but the fact remains that legit surveys also do look "suspiciously like GF".

You're right, that looks like the same survey programme. Could be true, then. Although I have to say I remain skeptical.

Not a bad tactic - as much as I discuss and speculate here, I remain skeptical of the whole thing myself. I mean, even if the survey itself is real, the content of upcoming DLC might be entirely different and this thing is a stuff of the future - which might as well never materialize.

In fact, I'm a bit worried about some gaming sites picking the rumors - these might whet people's appetites to a degree that might become problematic when they finally announce the DLC and it turns out to be something different or not deliver what these rumors have 'promised'.

Wouldn't be the first time we've seen this... I hope this gets cleared up soon before people wed themselves to a favorite rumor.

What would the BioWare forums be without rumors?

On a serious note, I really hope they do several DLCs like they did for ME and even DA:2.  They just need to space them out long enough so that when we finish up DA:I, it will be time to play ME:A.

Less worried about bsn, which will always be insane. More worried about 'journalists' who take a tweet or a comment out of context and then... boom.

But, I agree with you on the idea of how it might be scheduled. I'm hoping one by the end of summer, since it sounds like they're doing va work for something now, and Mike Laidlaw has been hinting we'll be seeing something storywise soon.

I want one this summer (Darkspawn?), one this fall (?), and one this winter/beginning of 2016 (?). I will accept there being only 2 more, but I want 3.

At least a couple more substantial MP DLCs as long as its worth it for Bioware. One will almost certainly bring Darkspawn as a MP enemy type and Deep Roads map, and if Qunari do come in, with unique units, I can see a Qunari faction coming in MP as well.

I want the upcoming DLCs (not counting JoH which to me was basically like a cut endgame zone + a couple cutscenes, though I know that's an oversimplification) to basically add 1/2 the size (or preferably more, if they can focus on story areas and cool dungeons over large map zones) of the original main questline size/duration. JoH has been little for that so far, as much as I do rather like parts of it.

I would honestly be very surprised to not have a SP DLC by the end of July.

Suddenly wondering if my inquestion might help the Q invade given where pretty big allies would be a shame to  kiol iron bull after guiding him back to the proper way of life

Well sorta kiding thatt was only three of my playthroughs.

But going to be interesting and if true guess the closing and about enimies waiting in the shadows was true

Same, but I'd stretch that prediction to August. 4-6 months between DLC's is pretty standard for BioWare.

That's what I meant. It would seem odd to have a survey only for the third DLC, when they were confident enough in their previous two. In addition, all the info they need in terms of what people want is here on this forum, and otherwise on the internet.

If this is the case my guess is that the other two were in the works before release or were cut content from DAI. The third is likely brand new material.

I agree, but either way, there is still a significant portion of playthroughs that will not involve sex with Morrigan.

I doubt they had enough time to make 2 DLC's worth of content to cut, but I wouldn't be surprised if the concepts of them were cut, and either way, I expect that the outlines for them were planned before release. Or possibly more ideas than they know they'll make, so they can gauge which ones would do better.

I'm hoping so, but trying to be as pessimistic as possible. That way any surprise might be a good one.

Ah, yes, the good old "The nice part about being a pessimist is that you are constantly being either proven right or pleasantly surprised" :D
