I think its a safe bet to assume there at-least will be a wolf hunt thrown somewhere into the mix before we are done, given who is really to blame for some of the stuff in-game

I can't remember if this has already been said, but the possible Qunari story arc in a final DLC may give us more evidence that DA4 will not only be in Tevinter and the North, but the backdrop of a new Qunari war with Thedas since attacking the Inquisition could be arguably seen as breaking the Llomeryn Accord in a big way.

I certainly want to see the Solas situation resolved, so if that part of things ends up being true in a final DLC, it works for me.

In either case the Inquisitor disappears at the end in true BioWare fashion.
far far away

ME3 was released on March 6th. Citadel was released on March 5th the next year. I wouldn't be surprised if Inquisition's last DLC was released on November 17th (yes, it's a Tuesday), after its Nov. 18th release the previous year. Although I really hope we get content after that, considering ME:A (which I'm not likely to buy) will be released a whole year after that, and the next DA game won't be for a while
As much as I wish that the next Dragon Age game could potentially come earlier than three+ years hence, we also have to take into account Bioware's still unidentified intellectual property that is being prepped. That game will factor into their financial equation as far as development dollars and personnel participation.

I suppose we shall see. Might as well be a thing of the future. But considering they've used the word "expansion" in the survey to describe this (more or less hypothetical) product, I'd say we might expect something a tad bigger than, say, JoH.
Just wanted to add that, while I was hoping "expansion" may mean what you (and I) think it should mean, they're also calling the Dragonslayer DAIMP dlc an "expansion" on the main site. (The second slide int he rotating banner on Dragonage.com) So.. yeah.

Sadly we will not get "expansion" . I think Mike Laidlow said. They never make expansion it's not work for them. They just make small DLC. Like Jaws of Hakkon. We can hope, bu most likely what we get will be new area.

They only said that there won't be any expansion LIKE Awakening - nothing stops them from making DLC that is different from Awakening though, lol - who knows, maybe even bigger. I don't think it will be bigger than Awakening, but eh at this point, we have no idea.

Someone on reddit posted this. Qunari DLC seems very likely now. Hopefully around the corner as well, seen as some textures were included in the patch.

Huh... Curious. What I'm curious about as well is the CHASIND faction I see there. No mention of the Chasind in DAI so far so... huh...

There is Chasind decor in the game pre-DLC, though, and Skyhold decor seems to be the section of assets they're looking at in those screenshots.

There is Chasind decor, though.
It's placed in a DLC folder though. Or is that Avvar stuff from JOH?

A last adventure to confront the one who started it all?
This sounds like a DLC with Solas as the main villain...sigh

Because the guy who gave a foul beast his orb is such a hero, he clearly was planning to do something with it himself and just lost control of things

Antagonist =/= villain.
This.
Many stories have the main antagonist as the actual good guy, while the protagonist is just a lackey (directly or indirectly) of the villain with a false sense of being the good guy(s).
Solas could easily be the "good guy" in the long term that will do bad things to get there. Like a lot of antagonists in JRPGs, that eventually become party members in the second half of the game as your goals align (the former antagonist helping to fix the mess the protagonist helped start by meddling in their affairs).

Based on everything PWs has said about Solas, it doesn't sound like he'll be the good guy. More of a very tragic figure that happens to be the antagonist (or an antagonist).

Bioware (oftentimes) has been really good about listening to user and player feedback, so I'm hoping that we will indeed get a story DLC that involves Solas, and will be large, similar to Awakening (even though I know devs said they won't do anything like Awakening). Perhaps that's just wishful thinking, but I do genuinely believe a ) Solas stuff will be resolved and/or b ) significant storylines will be added/wrapped up/expanded, etc (I'm down with Solas stuff carrying over into DA4, but I don't think it will, I imagine they'll wanna tidy up and wrap it up). So that's my hope, at least.
ALSO, NEW PJ APPAREL FOR SKYHOLD. PLEASE. MY INQUISITOR CLEARLY DOES HIS CALF-RAISES AND THIGH EXTENSIONS AND OBVS SQUATS BUT HE DOESNT NEED TO SHOW OFF CONSTANTLY. ![]()
Relatedly, I have a Descent question:
like JoH, does the Descent storyline, if you choose to partake in it after defeating Corypheus (i.e. 'beating' the game), not allow any further dialogue options or conversations with characters around Skyhold? Because this, for me, was by far the most disappointing part about the DLC. It made the game suddenly feel far more lonesome and lifeless-- and the 'living' aspect of the companion characters in Bioware games is probably one of my favorite aspects.
Cheers all!

So 2 days ago Bioware put up a "Know Your Lore" post for the Qunari. This means the leaked Qunari DLC is definitely coming. Looking back on the Know Your Lore posts for the Descent, they started exactly two weeks before it was released. So does this mean the new DLC is coming out in 12 days? Or is that way too close to The Descent?

So let me get this straight
Jaws of Hakkon - Humans and Spirits
The Decent - Dwarvers and Titans
Qunari DLC - Qunari and ?????
Solas DLC - Elves and ?????
Given the current pattern I wouldn't be suprised if the remaining DLC(s) had a similar trend.

I sometimes wonder if the Solas situation will be connected with DA4 which I hope is about an Eleven uprising.
