Unlikely. If that is the relay that allows ships to travel to Andromeda then the ark couldn't fit in. Unless the ark is the other ship on the left that looks small in comparison and it's actually really big.

But the form of the big thing there kinda resembles the icon with the word "arkcon" so...

I'd guess it's the symbol because it's how the Pathfinder Initative hopes to achieve the Andromeda Reconaissance, Knowledge-gathering & Colonization OperatioN.

This can't be a coincidence...can it?

Where's that T Shirt from?? If it's real, I guess they wouldn't have "ARK" in the name if there weren't some parallels to some sort of Ark. I would be happy with that, I guess, but I prefer the idea of that ship being a big relay, so at least there can be some contact with the Milky Way

Where's that T Shirt from??

Developers in Montreal got them several months ago.

Well, the A is definitely for Andromeda.

I suspect there is no ark and the journey to the Andromeda galaxy is a one-way trip until we find the technology to travel back to the milkyway.

I guess it is a bit like that. Chances of the Krogan being the species to design what must be the most advanced ship (if it's capable of traversing galaxies) in known space seems... unlikely, to say the least.

Maybe the Krogans just designed/built the outer hull? You know, for sturdiness sake.

I highly doubt it's "the" Ark. Leaving aside the architecture, the art is designed and coloured to be foreboding, which is not what I would have thought the ark should be.

The thing looks definitely alien.

However, the concept art of the "Presidium-like" location is probably the main hub, or the ark, or both.

Curiously, if you scrutinize that image, some clues may emerge. I pointed this out awhile ago - the angle of the floor of that "Presidium" (for lack of a better term) is not perpendicular to the axis of rotation. Ie: It isn't a Stanford torus like the Citadel's Presidium. It is an angle that would allow for artificial gravity if it rotated around the central pillar AND accelerated along the axis of the pillar...ie: If it moved. Like a ship.

So my guess is, that's the ark ship. I'm too lazy to find a pic of the concept art, but you can see what I mean.
